Hello, My Friend…

Have you noticed how classified ads are everywhere? They are in your favorite e-zine. When you do a search …there they are on all the search engines as pay per click ads. In Google, Bing, Yahoo, Facebook and everywhere else! Now days, almost all Blogs and Forums have them!

WHY IS ALL THIS GOING ON?

THEY WORK AND ARE CHEAP TO BOOT!

Now, writing classified ads is quite easy when you know how. Learning how is actually not hard at all. This Post covers 3 critical points to know. Use them when writing a classified ad! If you are into classified ads …do this and you’ll make more money too!

Classified advertising is one of the most cost effective forms of advertising on the Internet today. It may seem simple on the surface, but to draft a great ad you need to put some thought into how the ad flows.

If you want to add power to your classified ads, give serious thought to the following four-step formula:

There are three critical parts to these tiny little ads. Each part is harmonized to impact the reader to where he does what you ask him/her to do …CLICK THE AD AND VISIT THE SITE!

A GREAT CLASSIFIED AD HAS 3 PARTS:

1.The Headline;

2.The Ad Body; and,

3.The Call to Action!

Each individual part has its own one purpose and one purpose only! If you keep these in mind, it is easier for you to draft a great classified …it’s a building block formula:

Now that you know the 3 parts, here’s the purpose of each you need to keep in mind at all time:

A.-The purpose of the headline is to sell the ad:

The headline compels the reader to listen to what you

Have to say …that he/she should read the body! So,

Make it compelling, but by no means hypical! And,

Remember …your reader cares only for what’s in it

for me? Here are some helpful tips:

1.-Start with an action word

2.-Create curiosity

3.-Ask a question

4.-Make a startling statement

5.-Ask for the reader’s opinion

B.-The purpose of the body is to set up the call to action:

Your Ad exists only to get the click to your Site!

Before you ask give the reader a reason to click.

What’s in it for the reader? What benefit is there

for clicking it? People buy what the product does for

them, not for what it does!

C.-The purpose of the call to action is to sell the click.

How you ask makes a lot of difference between

success and failure of the ad! Save time today by

visiting my site now …more effective than “click here”!

Make the call to action simple to understand. Lure the

reader away from what he’s doing to visit your site!

This formula is intended to help you draft better classified ads, if you are or when you get into classified advertising. It is intended to help you …get your readers to take the action you want.

NOW THAT YOU KNOW…

You have only 2 rules to follow into drafting great ads …spell and grammar check it!

NOW THAT YOU ARE FINISHED…

Actually, there’s a small detail left: rule #1 is to TEST THE AD and test it again to make sure it works! When it shows that it works, like Humphrey Bogart said: PLAY IT AGAIN SAM! You’ll make some money now!

very good post and suggestions thank you

Hi, Mike! Highly interesting Post. You've learned well and I am impressed and proud of you. Your new environment in Austin, TX is bound to be much more interesting and motivating for you. Looking forward to your next Post.

I just got a wild Idea, again! You ought to e-MAIL your mom and dad to look at your Blogs at: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/mikegue323/blog! Not to buy anything, JUST FOR THEM TO SEE HOW YOU ARE DOING! Your mom might well have a bucket full of former colleague teachers interested in EXTRA income, since it is FREE to start.

Very well put together, thanks Mike.

Great post will bookmark this one

Barry

I've tried ads a couple of times, but was never satisfied with how they came out. Thanks for your post, these tips will help - especially the "how you ask" tip.

Hi, Jenna7.-Thanks for your comment. Classified ads, like all advertising, no matter who says otherwise, is just a shot in the dark at something that if you hit it ...man it comes to you. But if you miss,it may just pass you by. I hope this helps some, my friend!
