When The Passionate Become Quiet
When those who are normally passionate person becomes quiet, it usually signals that their work environment has become toxic and / or dysfunctional.
The result will be suspicion, insecurity and lost productivity.
This will clouds the culture, and employees will begin to retreat into self-protection behavior to protect themselves from forces within the company as opposed to the forces externally.
Leaders must be aware and act on this immediately or risk loosing the organization.
When you have a passionate team inspired to achieve the teams vision while fulfilling its purpose, you must do everything in your power to ensure that this team keeps this vibe.
Otherwise, you run the risk of pushing away great talent while settling for mediocrity.
I also feel that this is something we as business owners can also apply to our customers and audiences — we need to listen to them!
As always, your thoughts, comments, and feedback are greatly welcomed!
I wish you all a very productive and prosperous New Year ahead!

Hi Mike,
That is so very true. And should definitely be taken into consideration by all organizations.
Have a wonderful day!
I agree, but I also feel that it’s something we as business owners can also apply to our customers and audiences.

For the first fifty years of my life I was very involved in politics. The same principle applies there!
Oh yes! I do agree, I too have become very disillusioned with politics — which is very sad, but it gets to the point I don’t know who to believe anymore!

Very true Mike. As Sir Richard Branson once said “Clients do not come first. Employees come first. If you take care of your employees, they will take care of the clients.”
Happy New Year.

That is a great quote Paul…no wonder why Mr. Bronson is such a respected business leader!

Thankyou for sharing. This is true there's always something that's going to affect us and the way we perform our task. Not only leaders but the team can provide care and support when a member has become quiet. Reassurance and a listening ear is sometimes all it takes. Some may differ and need words/advice but just knowing someone is there means alot. Checking in on them everyday with a simple message can change the whole situation bringing light in a dark place. God bless you Mike
Thank you very much for your input and feedback!
