when writing a blog post that I quote a fact or quote from another website, what is the best way to give accreditation to the source on my post?
Thanks in advance
Kevin</

Thanks for the question, its something I was thinking about as i did not want to include a link away from my page but did want to credit the source. so the answers I see here are neat and useful. I used a blockquote and bracketed, not linked, credit for an example

Thank you

….or you can mention it right in the article. Such as:

While reading an article by Don Won in The NY Times about Thanksgiving it was stated that, “Thanksgiving is a time for not only family, but reflection”

While I can’t do it here, the passage in quotes would be italicized.

I think you get the idea.

-Mike

Yeah, I understood and thanks for the feedback.

You are welcome!

-Mike

If I want to give credit to the source, I set it in quotation marks and follow with source in paranthetics.

If not, just quotation marks.

I try the change the wording and not include it. In the past folks done it as images, however Google can now scan the image and read the text within.

I have changed the wording before to. Thanks for the feedback.

Awesome and you're welcome!
