Appreciate the question, Jerry :)

Thanks Abie!

You're welcome, Jerry :)

Hi - when I publish a post, I initially would start with the first title, to set the permalink as the keyword.

Then I change the title to make it more appealing and clickworthy, as in your second example.

Thank you Diane !

Most of the time, Google can extract a key phrase whose individual words have been separated.

So yes, use this so that your titles are more appealing.

Thank you Phil!

It is against policies of Amazon to do that but also: why would you want to do that? Because you can already use their own short links?

Thank you, stay well!

welcome, you too!

Nope, Jerry :) You cannot cloak Amazon links

Hi Abie, is there anything that can track them? I’m not so much worried about cloaking, more just organizing and seeing clicks for specific products.

I agee with, Andre…it’s against their Program Policy. I found this in their policy:

“ You will not cloak, hide, spoof, or otherwise obscure the URL of your Site containing Special Links “

-Mike

Thanks Mike!

thanks for finding the words they state so important. Amazon can be good to use but always a pain in the you know where with their rules compared to others plus lowering commission for the affiliate who have helped them get even better that what they were originally.

Very true!

-Mike

You are welcome!

No it is against Amazon rules to cloak their links and if you do so you will get your account shut down.

They are very specific you need to use the links they give you and no option outside of that.

it would be a good idea to read their terms on the site

So if you have used pretty links or other cloaking sites to us on Amazon you need to change it as if they find out not only can you lose the commission but again your account will be closed.

Yikes! I need to get rid of it. Many of the links are old, before I had a small clue of what I was doing. Do you think just deleting the app all together will effect rankings or anything weird?
I’m not sure if the links will stay in place after deleting the plug in ?

You are lucky they haven't found you are cloaking their links. The sooner you fix it the better just to be safe.
Not sure what app you are using but best to find the product on Amazon get a new link for that and replace it.

i know it can take time and a pain in the @@@ but better than being banned and closed down

Hi friends, I’m trying to get myself organized and targeted in my business. I’m looking for a good blogging business plan template. Does anyone know of a good resou

Have you tried using ChatGPT? I know it might be exactly what you're looking for, but I've used it before to help me come up with a business plan, and it's been extremely helpful, since I've been able to easily have it help change different things when it wasn't the best plan for my business. You're also able ask it what it would do/recommend ("Provide me with 5 ideas on month XYZ to raise revenue, increase traffic/email list").

Excellent idea; I love it :) And an awesome prompt.

Sorry Andy I've been away for a bit. Excellent idea! Thank you for your time, I'm definitely going to check that out.

The training is your business plan template just follow it as it is designed to give you a step by step plan for building a blog

I use a spread sheet to list all my posts and keywords as I go and also all other information about my blog such as

date started
FTP Details
posts list
keywords targeted
domain expiry
login details

Hope this helps

Barry

Thank you Barry. A spreadsheet is something I need to set up and stick with. I'm assuming Google drive ?

Hi Jerry
I understand your question pretty well, but I haven't come across any business plan templates specifically for creating a business plan for a blog. If you get stuck with this, feel free to reach out via PM, and perhaps we can create something suitable together.
:-)
Richard

Hi Richard, thank you very much for your time and offer. I will take you up on that if I get stuck. Stay well!

I use Blocksy Agency but also have the GeneratePress premium, Divi, and Oxygen.

The majority here uses the GneratePress.

I would test it first before buying in because that can be expensive.

You want to ensure they are responsive, extremely light, fast, well-coded, SEO optimized, flexible, adaptable, and customizable.

You may try GeneratePress or Premium, where you can extend the theme and have many layout templates.

Hey Abie! I use Kadence pro and Kadence pro blocks.. awesome. I’m not talking themes though lol, I mean like an actual business plan template, to organize posts keywords and goals.

Here are some resources you could check and utilize

SBA.gov - free, downloadable business plan template in Word format.

Score.org - Sample templates for standard business plans, including an e-commerce business plan template. All are free to download.

Bplans.com - Comprehensive free business plan template in Word and over 500 sample business plans you can reference for specific industries.

Microsoft Word - built-in business plan templates you can download.

Google Docs - free template galleries, including business plan templates. You can use them within Google Docs or download them.

InvoiceBerry.com - free template available in PDF, Word, and PowerPoint versions.

Canva.com - business plan templates with pie charts, graphs, and images built-in. The templates are customizable.

But to keep it simple, I would probably use spreadsheets and canva.

I save stuff either locally or on the cloud.

Sorry Abie, been swamped the last few days... Thank you very much for the resources, I hope you are doing well!

No problem :) Yeah managing thanks
