The Success I've Not Noticed
So here I am almost 7 months into my Wealthy Affiliate journey.
And here I was thinking... I still haven't achieved that much. I haven't even written one lousy success post on here.
Then I remembered an old saying I used to love:
Success is going from failure to failure without the loss of enthusiasm.
I have always been a sports guy... I ended up becoming a PE teacher because of this. That quote used to make me practice random ass skills for hours on end.
I remember learning to juggle with 3 balls when I was 7... trying for hours. Way longer than what most people would even consider normal.
I would get home from school chuck my bag in the door and be outside practicing kick ups and skills that I saw at the weekend from the big Man U games (this is football or soccer for you Americans).
And then it hit me...
I've had so much more success than I possibly imagined I would 7 months into this online gig, whilst working full time:
- I've connected with more like minded people than ever before
- Helped friends and family with personal finances
- Written over 100,000 words on maketimeonline.com
- Recorded a podcast weekly for 3 months (I've even had some WA guests @riazshah... check it out on iTunes here)
- Loved what I've been doing
- Pissed my loving wife off continuously (OK this hasn't been great... but she is so understanding and supportive)
All in all... I've been successful. I just haven't been celebrating it.
From now on you will hear from me on here every time I achieve success (sorry). Please hold me accountable and I would be delighted to do the same for you. Drop me a message below sharing some success you've missed and if you'd like to do an accountability swap!

The podcast has been great. I love connecting with like minded people and it has full on whacked me out of my comfort zone (I'm a bit odd and like this!) To be honest I didn't know a great deal about it when starting. I saw an opportunity come my way from a cool guy (Grant Sabatier... went from $2 to over $1 mil in 5 years, whilst working in a "normal job")
I would recommend checking out Pat Flynn and John Lee Dumas for starting a podcast. I would have done things a bit different if I learnt from them first!
Top tips if you wanna just get cracking:
-Podbean ($108 for a year)
-Audacity (free)
-Cheap USB Mic
-Wear headphones
