My Mom died suddenly on September 10th, 2014. She had been sick for most of her life, but her passing was fast and unexpected. I've tried to stay positive, to understand that she is in a place where there is no pain, but it's still hard. It still feels really "raw."
I joined Wealthy Affiliate to keep my mind occupied and to try and make money to help pay for a nice memorial for her. I'm not sure if I'll ever make money in this, but it's still been good to keep myself busy.
If you're reading this I just wanted to point out that people come to WA and I'm sure similar places for lots of different reasons. It's not just to become a millionaire. ;) People are here to keep their minds occupied, to realize a dream or fulfill a purpose, or to just get to know new friends.
I haven't been on WA very long but I am always so glad when I see another "follow" or someone visits my new website to make a comment. It is good to remember that in this world people are generally good and helpful, and want the best for one another. You know you've stumbled on a good place when that happens.
