Good morning Mikael,
Thank you for another very helpful video, as always.
That is something that I do sometimes, especially if it's something that I know about, but I'm just looking for that key moment. Another feature I use is the four arrow keys on my keyboard; these are great for jumping forward or back five seconds at a time.
On the other end of the scale, and as you rightly say, if it's something that's new to us or important, then it's important not to miss any of the videos.
I think I have missed a few of your videos, Mikael. I was thinking about your videos the other day that I hadn't seen one for a few weeks, but it looks like it's from my end! I try and look at Wealthy Affiliate every day, but it doesn't always happen due to busyness!
Keep up the great work; I appreciate your time and effort in creating the videos.
All the best.
Roy
Thanks Roy. And great tip about the arrows also.
But yes, definitely important not to rush through new things but for some things and for some research, this can really be a time saver.
Thank you, Mikael; it's one of those tricks that I use quite a bit, especially if I'm searching for something in particular.
Have a great day and thank you for your tips.
Roy
There's actually a shortcut for the speed-up feature! (I only discovered this by accident a few weeks ago.)
When watching a video, hover your mouse over the video screen, then press and hold the left mouse button.
After a second (or even less than a second), the video will play at twice the normal speed for as long as you hold the button.
Of course, for longer videos, you probably don't want to hold your mouse until your finger turns blue, so it's better to use the method Mikeal suggested for extended viewing.
Thanks!
Mike
P.S. Unfortunately, this doesn't work during ads. :(

Thanks for the tips. I usually watch videos at 1.5-2x speed--many speakers speak slower for clarity but I find it's a bit slow for me.
Me too.
