Good morning Mikael,

That's a very helpful video, as I need to add more links to my YouTube channel. I do appreciate the reminder! It's amazing how a few minutes can enhance a YouTube channel and make it more profitable.

I'm enjoying your short training videos, Mikael, thank you!

Wishing you all the best and the great day.

Roy

Thanks. Great to hear you enjoy these short videos - and yes, sometimes small tips can make a big difference.

I agree, it is often those small changes that can make all the difference.

All the best.

Roy

Hey Mikael, thanks for sharing this. Your channel is already doing well. Keep it up! I subscribed. I am also subscribed to another channel with only 34 videos. She has 120K subscribers and 4.34 million views already. Her channel has similar niches as yours, but she talks about using AI to make money in many of her videos. AI is hot and will be popular for a very long time.

There is a spelling mistake on your one link title. Just add the "h" in "Methods".

Yes, some channels need fewer videos than others to get a lot of subs. But also be aware that some people buy views and subs to make the numbers look great but it will actually hurt the channel in the long run. Do not know of that is the case with the person you mention, but just something to be aware of in general.

And thanks for mentioning the spelling error - I have now fixed it.

Yes, I know about that. I don't know how they even manage to get that right without being caught... I subscribe to quite a few channels with only a few hundred videos and they get massive traffic/ views. Most of them seem to give valuable information, they use fantastic thumbnails, and the overall gist of their content is great. They also get between 80% to 100% SEO scores on all their videos.

I am launching three new channels, each with a totally unrelated niche... All of which I am passionate about and have already gained lots of knowledge about. I'm excited to start them. But first, I need to create at least five to ten videos for each before I can launch.

Great to hear you are getting started. If this is your first time starting a channel, I would, however, recommend starting with one channel. Then you will learn a lot from that and do not have to make the same mistakes on several channels. And you will not burn out. Then once you start seeing results with one channel, you can spread to others. Just my thoughts but maybe you are already experienced and know exactly what you are doing and then I apologise for giving advise:-)

No, it's not my first. I already have a few channels, of which two of them have a few million subs and a lot of views. However, I am always open to advice, and you give very valuable information. Thanks for that.

ok. Definitely sounds like you know what you are doing then. Congratulations on those results. That is amazing.

I have also seen people adding links to the header picture of their channel,do you know how to do this please? (this is beside the links on your profile, and in the form of social media icons like the Instagram icon) thanks!
Lizzy

This is no longer possible. The links I show how to add in the video is what used to show up in the banner image but YouTube has changed this, so now they instead show as I show in the video.

ok thanks

Hey Mikael. Thanks a million for this. I have a question about the comments section after our video is published. Is it good practice to pin a link in this comments, or what do you think?
Regards
Roopesh

Yes, that is good practice to do. I always make a comment myself with some kind of CTA link and then pin it. In fact, I make this comment and pinned it before the video is published so I am sure it is there from the beginning.

Very awesome, Mikael! Much appreciated!

Jeff

You are welcome

Much appreciated!
