Google strikes again
Google set up a business google+ page for me then proceeded to mark it as spam and removed it.
Google has also removed my site from google analytics. I'm beginning to question why. I have no broken any of googles rules, so I can only be left to conclude someone reported my site. Why? I have no idea. But to say I'm not happy would be the understatement of the century.
Just fed up.

Wow! I feel for you Michelle, do Google give any details of the error so you can correct it, or is it because they don't like your content. This is very concerning.

Not surprised you are fed up. Wish I could offer you some advice - I can't. I just try not to look at their data most of the time (which benefits me on occasions but has also left me not realising something was wrong). Poor you. Don't give up.

Hi Yogie, thanks for that. Those errors are just to do with meta tags and such I believe. They don't mean the website's in trouble :)
I pulled womengettingwealthy as I wasn't working on it. Just have 2 sites going at present :) Thanks for checking for me.
Berny, build a community around your site, learn to use Google alerts and blog commenting, social media, get properly involved in a forum or two there,s info on most of these things are WA
They have gotten to a point now where they are much bigger then needing us. Same as microsoft, once they got to a certain point, they just didn't care anymore.
There is a certain freedom to never having to worry about rankings, its not easy but you can build traffic outside of all search engines if you put the effort in.
More flexibility in how you make sites and never having to worry about SEO are a definite bonus
I hear you! I'm going back to my gut instinct on how to do things. I tried other people's ways but it doesn't work for me.
Perhaps a stupid question, but is there no possibilty to ask "Google" to explain why they did that? (Stupid, because I think Google is too big to have the time to answer personal questions, or am I mistaken?)
Google will usually only give a stock answer with a vagueness that makes even experienced politicians jealous. Its worth a try but don't expect to be enlightened.
No, they don't. They give you questions they've decided you are most likely to ask and then provided answers. They list no way at all for you to contact them in cases where a question hasn't been covered by them.
I'm totally over it all anyway. I've had enough.
Which site are you having problems with Michelle? Google are a pain but not the only show in town, I'm spending as much time as possible this year working around this fickle search god.
You say analytics is gone, are you still in webmaster tools?
No idea, I've just removed everything to do with google, including google+ pages. Just fed up with them.

This happened to a friend of mine and it took several months to sort it out. They blacklisted his computer and he had to contact Google Europe to get this rectified.
Now this may not be the same thing but what I can suggest is you contact Google because this issue will not go away.
