Hi WA friends,
I want to share with you a happy news. I've just checked Google Analytics for my two websites. I noticed that visitors stay much longer than before. One month ago, session duration was around 1 minute. Now it is 5 minutes on English website, and 8 minutes on Croatian website.
When I saw that Session Duration was only 1 minute, I knew I had to do something very drastic. At that time I had a Theme with very large Featured Images and post excerpts were very big also, thus stopping my visitors from inspecting it any further. When they landed on my website they were only able to see a Featured Image of one post, not even a Title of the post.

I moved to a theme called Publishable Mag which had smaller excerpts and featured images. Now, a visitor can see up to three excerpts on one page, and as a result, they stay longer.
I have two questions for you:
1. What is, in your opinion, a good session duration?
