Planting the seed

Hello dear WA friends,

I just wanted to share a few thoughts with you. When I first joined WA I was completely amazed by it (and I still am) and the idea of sharing it with the world seamed like something easy. But when I started writing about it and telling friends about it, it was like my words were falling on deaf ears. It seamed people were not ready to hear about training that will teach them how to start their own business, or to be their own boss, be in charge of their life.

On the other hand, from my own experience, sometimes it is hard to swallow when somebody surprises you with a new concept, something you have not experienced, or you were not looking for. In Croatia most of the people were raised to be employees, to do as they are told, receive regular pay check etc.

I remember once a friend suggested to me something that was completely new to me. At first I sad strong "no", "No way, this isn't for me!" But she has planted a seed of a new concept. And after 4 months I actually acted upon what she has suggested.

I joined WA immediately after I landed on the website of my WA mentor. But this happened after I was looking for ways to start my own business for a whole year. I was mentally opened to this idea and his website and WA seemed to me just like a piece of land to a drowning man.

Actually, this is exactly what SEO does for us. Search engines are directing people who are ready and eager to our website.

But it doesn't hurt to plant few seeds here and there. Maybe some of them will sprout.
