Does anyone here carry one time offer pages in their internet marketing tool belt? If so, when and where are they used and how successful (or unsuccessful) are they?

These don't seem to be very popular on here. They are usually used in upsells. You purchase something and after having done this, up comes an oto page. They are used because you are already in a buying mode.

I know this, so when it happens to me, I usually ignore them. I personally think they are a bit "sneaky" though I wouldn't call them "black hat."

One time I did get a program I always wanted. I was definitely in a buying mood at that time. I got hit with oto after oto and because these things were so inexpensive, I got them all until there were no more oto's. Trouble is - every bit of it is rubbish, including the original purchase I had made.

They don't seem to be as common as they were about five or six years ago. Perhaps it's the stigma of being associated with crap from folks wanting to make a buck from out-dated and no-longer-popular items.

I'd personally stay away from creating these.
