I am a citizen of Botswana and live in rural areas called Kalahari, where people of the world know it has scarce rains, uneducated people, under developed part of the country. To survive here is a struggle. No services are closer to us, we struggle to get them.

In joining WA i became very excited that I will be and I want to be the ambassador of my area. I am struggle to communicate with WA members because in my area there is no access to internet, we buy expensive modems to use but the challenge becomes the network, sometimes we spent two days without network and this impact in my work at WA another challenge is buying airtime to use, when i have no money there is no work.

WA members it is not my intention by not responding to your comments and not welcoming you, this is the challenge I have. I once knelt down and prayed asking God to give me a messiah who can support me with airtime to be able to do make my work at WA achievable and get money as it has been my dream.People bear with me the environment I live in is not conducive. WA members Ineed your support, I am following more than five thousand people but only one thousand are following me, why don't you want to follow back.

Soon I will be creating a business site I wonder whether you will support me if you can't follow me. I want to ululate WA, but I am confident that I am in good hands, may be some experience the problem that I have here in my area in my country, I love u all WA's stay blessed

Do not let this defeat you. Keep your head head held high, success to you. Orlando

I'm with Brez on this one; don't spend too much time worrying about your rank and such. And I want to let you know that you've got a lot more strength than many of the people here on Wealthy Affiliate, which is quite admirable, especially considering your situation. Keep being awesome!

Please don't despair not everyone you follow will follow you back. I have read a blog that said it is only common courtesy to follow someone back if they follow you but not all do it. I have also read a blog that said some people are tired of too many WA emails and they either just read the important ones or delete them immediately and some have opted out of receiving WA emails all together. My humble advice to you is to use your valuable internet time working on your website and training and not to worry about some foolish rank. The WA community will still be with you when you have an important question or if you want someone to view and critique your website. I will try in my limited ability to see to that. We all love and care for you here but sometimes we may find it hard to give everyone the attention they deserve.

I'm with Brez. Use your limited time online wisely to build your business. Don't worry about your WA rank - that is just the amount of socializing you do here, mostly. And PM me whenever you need help, I and many others are here to help you succeed.

I would not worry about that dear.I am not bothered so much about that,I think you have got this bit wrong if you do not mind me saying so.If you are following more than five thousand people then how is it possible that you can keep in contact with them.I would say to you, less is more,I understand that a lot of people here are just acquaintances and just a face in a profile but you say no one is following you.Why not get to know folks a bit by asking them what there interests are, share some of your own stories and experiences with them.Take a note off who these folk are and keep in close contact with them, when I first joined here I thought it was about how many folk you followed and who followed you,I use to spend all day replying to messages and then I realised I was getting nothing done on my site. It,s quite different now and you must also do the same thing, keep a few close friends here and the rest of the folk if you do not get a chance to message them then it wont matter so much.I used to get bombarded with emails and then I decided that things had to change, besides everyone else does the same thing,I got to the stage when I was overloaded with emails and I was getting nothing done I just deleted them;I know that sounds harsh but it,s either that or just let your email,s stack up.When things get too much for me i refer to it as "The Cardinal Sin",when people see this on my post they probably say to themselves Oh no Mark has done it again,he has cleared all his emails.Have you tried going into live chat,it is good fun, just say hi and where you are from and you do not have to talk all WA,talk about things that interest you, your hobbies and your family.
Any way I do hope this has helped a bit,if you need to chat just drop me a message, despite my profile name as tomtitty,my first name is Mark.....Please keep in touch.........

My prayers go out for you also. Hang in there and have fun.

Others have said it nicely, I can only agree with what they say. I did follow you back with great pleasure. I wish you all the best, you deserve it. Jovo

Welcome

I wonder if I were living under your conditions if I would fare as well as you are doing. I admire your patients & determination to rock on despite your challenges. More power to you!

Thanks for this very nice blog. We all have problems to deal with from time to time but I can see yours are more severe than most. I sincerely wish you success. Glyn.

I understand totally and admire you for the tremendous effort you have to expend to work an online business. My wife is from Ghana, and when I am there, often the lights will just go off for 12 hours at a time, and often the internet will not be strong enough to do anything online. No running water in the house, you pay to have it delivered, or fetch water from a shared spigot outside whenever it runs - which is not very often.

So I have a good idea what you are going through, and respect you for doing it.

I commend you for your diligence and commitment to do whatever it takes to make this work for you. You are an amazing person. :)
