My first 15 days with WA
When I first joined, it was at the "starter" level. I quickly realized that I needed the offerings for the premium members and joined that.
My new site, tribalshowcase.com is about Native American goods and I hope to monitize by selling NA-inspired goods such as beadwork, jewelry, baskets, etc. So far, I have 4 pages, 1 Tier 2 page and a blog entry. I'm looking for avenues to make money besides Google AdSense. So I'm not making any money yet. I need to reach out to others for some advise on that.
My plans are to continue and build something that is mine, based on a topic that I know and am passionate about. I've been laid off since mid-2013, and am at the age that on paper, I'm too old (LOL).
In 3 months, I want to be able to have a revenue stream of approximately $3000 a month, and double that in 6 months. Now, do I drop-ship? Do I depend on affiliate arrangements? Commissions? I really need some direction and advise about that.
The long and short of it is, I will not be dependent on others for a livelihood again. I'm happy to have the support and knowledge of those in WA!

Hi Michaele! Your site is coming along very nicely! With our niche sites, probably would stay with affiliates until we become more proficient and trusted in our chosen category. The affiliate partners will pay commissions. As you grow your business, drop shipping could be viable and make you more money. You would want to align yourself with a company that does the shipping for you so you would not have to bring in the products to your home, ship them out, etc. Also you might want to go through the Affiliate Bootcamp to create another income stream of commissions. Whatever direction you decide to go will eventually be profitable. Please be patient since an online business will take time before it starts to make you money. Hope that helps you. :-)
