Tip Of The Day - Right Click To Open and Let's Promote Each Other's Products
When you make an action in WA, many times, if not always, someone will be responding to your comment/question/blog post or whatever.
For me it's important to acknowledge the person that took the time to read your blog post or answer your question. Not only will I 'like' and/or comment on the action that person makes, I like to get to that person's profile to learn more about them.
The only problem with doing this is that every time I would click on that person's profile, it would take me away from that original page where the person made the comment in the first place. Click another link on that person's page and before you know it, I'm 2 or 3 pages away from my original blog post where people commented in the first place.
I like to try to 'reward' people as much as possible that interact with my blog posts, questions, etc. We all surf the web for information/answers, why not give WA members a chance to help us out first?
By RIGHT CLICKING on a person's name, you can open that person's profile page in another window/tab while leaving your original blog post still open to easily get back to to right click on the next person's name that responded to your blog post or whatever.
Here's the kicker and I'm trying to spread the word and/or improve how we find out more about each person's niche website.
Let me give you an example:
When I right clicked and went to Annie's website I learned that she promoted learning tools for children and had a virtual classroom. Annie had interacted with me several times before I took the initiative to go find her website, and I'm glad I did. Had I not taken the initiative to look into what Annie was offering I kind of never would have known what it was.
Our middle child Evan has ADHD and a learning disorder and needs all the help he can get. Annie's cards seemed a great tool so I ordered them. Chances are I was going to order something from someone or some place online, why not a fellow WA member?
One of my biggest gripes to date is that even when I right click to look at another person's profile, they don't include any 'follow me' link in their profile and make no OBVIOUS mention about what their niche product might be.
We're all potential customers to one another and we're a very active, large community. I'd like to see or create a listing somewhere of active niche sites by members so we as a community give each other first dibs on getting a commission before we travel out to the web itself searching for something we might otherwise be able to get a commission first for a fellow WA member!
And remember, those of us that are Amazon associates get commissions on not only what we're promoting on our sites, but on whatever else a person that clicked through your link to get to Amazon for purchases.
I'm game to take the lead here. I have an idea to start a website with a WA listing for active WA member nich sites.
For those of us that REALLY care to help the other WA member out, perhaps you go to this website first see if there's a niche site in existence that suits your needs and perhaps purchase through that member's niche site.
If you don't purchase, perhaps it's simlpy an easier place to get to WA member's sites to make comments on at the very least.
Either way it would be a quicker way to see each other's sites.
I'd love to hear some feedback (good or bad) about what member's thoughts are on this.

Great post and I think your idea of a website for all our sites is a great one! I would use it. I do try and read profiles but I'll admit I haven't read them all yet!
Thanks Jennie. I think I'm going to do it and let the cards fall where they may. If members want to have their site incorporated into the directory on the site, all the more power to them, if not that's okay too!
Go for it! I haven't added affiliate links to my site yet but will soon so I'll add my site when you have it up and running!
What a great idea-having a website for the WA members would certainly make life a lot easier.
Thanks for the mention!

I was curious why this isn't practiced for awhile since joining WA. In the back of my mind I thought why doesn't the community promote each other's niches. We are here to help each other. This would be another way to do so. We can all be proactive with this idea.
Kevin, I agree...it's borderline just a touch maddening the more I poke around at other people's profiles, etc., just how difficult it is to find what their niche is. Quite honestly, I'd like this new site I'm thinking about be for member niche websites only, not sites promoting WA. Or at the very least, have one page of unique niche sites and another page of everyone's WA promotion sites. Either way it would lend itself to giving new members a chance to readily look at other people's niche sites and get ideas how to do it themselves. Plus it strengthens the WA community as a whole. Lots of win-wins I think.
How nice, never done the right click, I always go to the tab and choose for duplicate page, not a day goes by that I learn something new:) Thanks Matt!
Never a day Loes! You're a wealth of knowledge also Loes...been snooping around all your work...lol
