Merv's Six Principals of Success
Merv's Six Principals of Success:
1. Fundamentals
Basic premise is show up even when you feel like it’s not working, outwork everyone, and rely on your own two hands to get the job done. You gotta get your hands dirty if you want to succeed.
2. Consistency
Success isn’t always about money. It’s about consistency. Consistently working your ass off leads to success. Whining about how hard it is leads to being caught in a revolving door of complacency. You can go around and around and go nowhere or you can move forward. Money and success will come as a result of consistently moving forward and learning new techniques and the principals of business.
3. Communication
The most important relationship you will EVER have in business is the relationship you have with your audience. Pay attention to who, you’re doing business with. Make sure you are communicating and emailing the people on you your list at least 3 times weekly with information that will help them. If you’re not communicating with your audience via Facebook, Twitter, email etc. then you’re losing them and sales.
4. Earn it
Old saying: Respect is given when it’s earned… so get out there and earn it. No one owes you anything and when you think they do, you lose respect. Work your ass off and people will see it and realize you’re someone they want to do business with. Sitting around doing nothing gets you one thing…nothing.
5. Be yourself
The single most powerful thing you can be is be yourself. No one likes a phony, but no one wants to work with a jackass either. Be yourself, but realize you’re a professional.
6. What’s the secret?
What’s the secret to success?’ There are no secrets. It’s more of a question you have to ask yourself. How bad do I want it? Be humble. Be hungry. And always be the hardest worker in the room. The same strategies that other successful people use are the same principals you’re learning here at Wealthy Affiliate.
There are only two ways to fail.
1.Do nothing
2.Never start
