CoPromote: Useful Or Useless?

This month, I decided to try out a website I found called CoPromote. I have really only been using it for one month, but I think it would be good to write a quick review on it anyway.

CoPromote is a website where you ReTweet or share other peoples blog posts on Facebook and Twitter, and in exchange other people share your blog posts. When I first saw this, I thought it was a really great idea, so I decided to pay the extra $50 this month which allows me an extra reach of 200,000 people (that means that people with up to 200,000 Twitter or Facebook followers can share it for me).

I "promoted" two of my blog posts on it, and in the first day I had about a 10,000 person reach. I thought that would mean that I would have more people visiting my website. But it turns out I had the same amount of people visiting this month as any normal month. This was confusing, but then I started to think about how many links I tend to click on Twitter that are shared by those who I don't know, which is pretty close to zero. So after thinking about it, I can see why this system did not work for me.

Without a large following, I don't think CoPromote is the best way to get your blog seen. Maybe this will work better when I have a bigger following, I do not know, but as it stands right now, I see this as only slightly less shady than buying followers and likes, and I don't see this as a very good investment.

What was your experience with CoPromote or do you have any marketing investments you like, post a comment below.

the best way to go is organic traffic. if you start paing for likes now, you will have to continue paying forever.. Don't waste you money.

best regards,
Maxine

$50 for this service seems a rip off, I would consider $5 stll too much. You don't want to be wasting money like this, even if your site is making good bucks you have to carefully mind your overheads and count are they profitable or not!!

I don't have any in particular, investing in Marketing Packages will not really do you much good. Anyways, for me personally, SEO is the best way to go :) It is definitely the best way to go, and it's completely free. I'm sure you are aware of this :D Thanks for sharing with the community.
