The Power of Emotion for Sales

Hi everyone,
She loves it
This post is for you.
The Power of Emotion for Sales
I attended a 7 day Course on a Course Creation Challenge for $47.
The info provided made the cost more than worth it, BUT...
I also felt like the entire course was One Huge Upsell and it was.
Now one interesting takeaway was that the Upsell was also in the info about upselling your own course and the use of a Value Ladder.
So it fit hand in hand with their Upsell although I grew tired of the way it was Emotionally delivered to us.
On Day 5, they unveiled what people could take advantage of to boost their course/coaching/services to be earning $10k a month or more within the year.
Many people took advantage of this opportunity.
How much was it?
Only $5000. They did offer a few payment plan options, but I certainly could not afford any of that which is good in my opinion as I may have been tempted.
As much as its a 12 month program with coaching and they promise to do everything they can for us to hit the $10k a month mark, I can only wonder.
Now I can see how she was able to earn $1,000,000 in 3 months. Interesting.
The good news is for me is I can see just what needs to be done to hit $10k a month even if there are a few questions in my mind, mostly because I have not done it yet.
So I will be working on that.
I was also inspired to move into Mindset coaching because isn't that most people's challenge?
How we all put up barriers with our thinking that hold us back?
As Spock would say from Star Trek, "Fascinating."
Its good to keep in mind to try to keep your emotions in check if at all possible. They were clearly hitting every button possible during their continue Upsell.
I've always tried to put off any decisions like that for at least 24 hours in order to be able to come back and take another look at something with less or no emotions if possible.
More than a few times, I have declined to purchase whatever after waiting like that.
Keep Succeeding!

I'm the same way, Mel. I always step back and let things "simmer", before I make an emotional investment or purchase. 👍
I haven't heard Spock say "Fascinating" in years!
Isaiah 🙂
A lot of financial success claims are just that, Mel, especially when big money is involved.
It’s usually better to wait and think things over a bit before making a major purchase.
That doesn’t apply to guitars, of course! Lol 🎶

Great Advice, Mel!
This would have saved me a few times. Now I have an additional stopgap for this problem. Since I am taking care of my folks for Room, Board, a Vehicle, and a bit of cash I don't have any money to spend like that. So I have to go talk to my Dad. Before I do that though, I have to weigh everything, then get my nerve up to go "talk to him about it" before I even get to ask him if I can do it, or should do it. :)
Thanks for this

Hi Mel!
The salespeople that sell the most, especially in my niche, use emotion in sales to get the prospect to take immediate action. I see it all the time.
It's good you wait and make an informed purchase!
