Hi everyone,

No Pain No Gain with the idea that suffering is necessary in order to achieve something.

I have seen that is not often the case.

It was used especially in the military and I did not particularly care for it. :-)

Today, I have an added perspective and it only took me 4 1/2 months to realize it.

My pain is helping me to cut away from the noise, from distractions, from what is NOT important especially regarding business.

I have small periods of time each day when I feel energized/motivated enough to try to be productive.

I believe I am handling the challenge well.

It also helped me to look at AI more to save more time and be more efficient. The Hubs helped in a way you might not expect as well.

Whatever anyone is creating with AI, there is someone else out there doing the same thing. The Hubs upsell really turned me off and I have found alternatives to do the job just as well or even better in my opinion and I'll say nothing more about that.

So I am busy or I should say AI is busy creating posts and content every day in just a few minutes including producing AI images via Dall-e based on the blog's content.

I'm getting closer to taking this even further with public domain content to massively increase the number books/ebooks published online. That would be my ultimate use for AI at this point in time.

This is one image auto-generated based on my blog post content. AI just gets better and better.

So I am thankful for my pain for what it has opened my eyes to.

I hope you are having a productive & Happy FriSatSu!

Oh wow! You helped me realize something too! You see, I'm in a lot of pain every day too, and I realize I am focusing more on what's important. I didn't see a purpose for my pain, but I think now I'm seeing it a little more. So thanks for this post!

You are most welcome Jena! I hope you are able to find a solution for your pain.

Mel

Thank you, and I wish the same for you as well.

Hi Mel

One of the most detrimental things about AI is the all time we can invest evaluating the new tools that appear every day.

That’s one of the reasons I like the domain blueprint in Hubs. It can help keep us focused and more productive.

As they continue to build it out, it could become a viable “one stop shop” for all our AI needs, including image generation.

One key to achieving this could be allowing us more customization options inside Hubs, like building our own writer personas, etc.

I’m guessing that our cost of using extra words per month helps with things like the WA AI platform development and associated APIs.

I do think that trying to generate as many posts per day as possible with AI is the wrong approach, at least for getting organic traffic.

As you noted, there are people generating immense amounts of information with AI, which makes writing high-quality, helpful, and unique content more important than ever. 😎

Thanks for taking the time to share Frank. Yes, I was on the AI bandwagon early and then got off until now and there will still be many more changes coming in the months and years ahead.

I'm not concerned about organic traffic so no worries there.

On an unrelated note, I will go get my right shoulder checked out at the public hospital here tomorrow and see what they can learn and show me and then I'll take it from there.

Mel

Good luck with your shoulder, Mel.

I hope you get it straightened out soon! 😎

Thanks Frank!

Please know that I mean no disrespect to you when I am less than positive about doctors and their methods. There are some great doctors out there and then some who leave a lot to be desired.

I always just consider them a coach and I will get as much info as I can to make an informed decision.

Its just how I am and I don't regret it especially since it was I and not the doctors that saved my mom back in 1996 and she lived another 18 years independently. They had given up on her. Thanks to Medical P.O.A., I was able to take decisive action to save her. Marine Mel helped me through that experience, but its tough making life and death decisions for a loved one. I choose life.

Have a great rest of your FriSatSu Frank!!

Mel

No worries, Mel! 😎

Enjoy your day/night,
Frank 🎸

Hi Mel, I can see you are maximizing the small window of opportunity that opens up to you daily, thanks to AI! It has not only revolutionized the way we do things but has drastically reduced the amount of time we spend doing them. Is there a better definition of efficiency?

Agreed. Thanks Dada!

You brought back so many memories, “No Pain No Gain.” How often did those ring in my ears. Yes, the Marines Corps was famous using those words as motivation. At first, like yourself, I hated that motivation comment. Approximately a year in the Corps, I realized that I was getting stronger, mountains, jumping out of planes became easier, as well as more achievements, began to become less challenging. True with the use of AI to gain the lead. Like you, and reaching 70 years old I did not maintain the mental discipline for the Marine way. But the training has never been forgotten. Military discipline can be applied in our civilian lives and careers or our new undertakings. Glad the pain is no longer involved, but the philosophy is not lost .

Thanks for sharing Donald! Yes, there was a lot I didn't like in the Marines and yet there were so many great experiences and memories just the same.

Simper Fi

Semper Fi Donald!

A good message for others to take note of Mel.
Glad you found a way to be better

Thanks Bux!
