My Next Challenge: Creating an Online Course

Hi everyone,
A quick post before I retire for the evening. :-)
I decided the next logical step in building my Publishing business is to create a course on Udemy.
They even have a 45 day course creation challenge for new instructors and we'll get more promotions if that is achieved.
I expect to have my course done in 2 weeks.
They now have Gen AI to assist as well which so for I haven't needed, but I did get Grok 2 to give me ideas for all the course objectives.
I will work on completing the Curriculum and then I will take it each step and write it out as well as create video content.
It was recommended in my reading for a beginner to start with Udemy and so I have. They really promote your product. However you will not have emails from students and they can discount your product a lot.
Others like Kajabi, Thinkific, and Teachable are great for capture emails and building your list/following, but you have to do all the marketing.
So I'll start with Udemy and proceed from there.
I have many more courses inside of me that I can do.
As always down the road I'll let you know how its going.
Its another way to slowly build up my income on the way to building my One Person Billion Dollar Publishing business with AI assistance.

Years ago I too started with Udemy and they are super useful apart from the fact they do all the marketing. They will not let you upload the course if your videos are not of the best quality so that aspect was very useful for me. Now i use Thinkific but a great idea to start with Udemy. I am sure you will smash it
