Beware of Complacency - We Can Do Better

Hi everyone,

I believe it is certainly ok to take a vacation when wanted or take some time to chillax..etc.

I see also that I fell for some of the stories that I tell myself at times.

My books that are published with Lightning Source, Inc used to have a website prior to coming to Wealthy Affiliate and I eventually dropped it, because hosting fees ate up the profit I was making.

After joining Wealthy Affiliate, my "story" was that I didn't have the time or I didn't want to take the time to build the website again and add the inventory back into it.

Lightning Source promotes my books via a Catalog that goes out to most bookstores..etc. I give a 40% discount to retail stores so that drives sales, too. So its not like I wasn't making any money from my books.

Well now that I am committed to building a Billion Dollar Publishing Business, it was time to finally build that website here at WA. It only took 24 hours to build and place my inventory and I connected it to Woo Commerce. It just went live a few minutes ago.

I'm also emailing a few prospects who had emailed me previously asking where was the website, because in all my books sold, it has my publishing name, website and email address.

I do have one bookstore in Colorado that still faithfully orders books at wholesale. I used to have 40 bookstores ordering from me including one in Mexico. Often they have gone out of business themselves.

So it will be time to also reach out to bookstores in this niche and see if I can add them now.

I believe this is a perfect example of just being "comfortable" where we are in life and having a burning passion to do more.

You get 2 very different versions of Mel Waller. I like the new version. :-)
