The photo above is of Sparsh Shah, a 15 year-old award winning music prodigy, also known as "The Brittle-Bone Rapper".

Sparsh Shah (born 2003) is an award winning Indian-American singer, songwriter, and rapper from Iselin, NewJersey. He was born with an incurable disease called Osteogenesis Imperfecta, which is a disease that makes his bones brittle. Shah gained international news coverage when he covered Eminem's "Not Afraid" on January 2, 2016 (2 years after undergoing a life-changing operation which implanted 19 metal plates in his spine).

After the stint with Eminem, Sparsh continues to win numerous music and humanitarian awards both in the US and internationally.

Sparsh believes in making anything IMPOSSIBLE to I'M POSSIBLE!

And so this is what I am going to write about in my 1st blog (ever!).

First and foremost.....YIPPEE!! I have upgraded to PREMIUM!!!!

Hi there! I am Yate from Malaysia. I used to lecture at a university here in Malaysia before venturing into education management and became a CEO for a private college.
My interest included swimming, running, Nature and the outdoors. It's in past tense because though I still love those activities, I am now very much confined to the bed and chair. Some health issues involving my legs and spine have rendered me almost immobile and then things took a turn for the worse when I was also diagnosed with breast cancer.
For the past few months, I was so down in the dumps...and that's until I received a WhatsApp from an ex-student reminding me how strong a person I was....
Yeah...sure enough...I've forgotten all that. (BTW, I was also a leadership and motivation training consultant before). Everything seems so far away in the past and I felt so broken.... That was until my ex-student reminded me who I actually am.
Three weeks later, I found WA with all its grandiosity :) The program looks fantastic and the community is superb--just what I have been looking for.

So here I am. I know what I have to do.... I AM SWIMMING ACROSS THE ENGLISH CHANNEL! I AM RUNNING A MARATHON OF MY LIFE! ALL FROM MY HOME! IN MY CHAIR!

If Sparsh, a 15 year-old on a wheel-chair, with 19 plates in his spine can succeed, and if I can will myself to do it.... SO CAN YOU!
