Hey Fellow WA members. I just joined and have a question for the experts in the field. I'm building my website and want to create an affiliate program similar to "ThisiswhyI'mb
Hi Moritz S, Thank you for your quick response. So if I want to create a site thats dedicated to finding cool products around a certain topic and then promoting those affiliates..what is the best approach in creating the site? I'm thinking I need the content from those sites to promote..make sense?
I'd recommend doing it as it's shown in the training.
If you focus too much on selling, WA might not be the right place for you.
Sure, we all want to make money here, but WA doesn't teach how to create an online store.
That site you linked to is an online store.
What most people are doing here is to create a blog that makes money through affiliate links.
You can combine that with an online store, but it's still different from that page.
Ok thanks. I would also blog about the products but I now understand the difference. Thanks for your time!
Content first.
You will have a hard time getting accepted by companies if you don't have a site with content.

I would first try to think up of many points about the products to write about as possible. Different uses, reviews, benefits etc. Next I would research affiliates that are available and offering those products. Next i would outline my menu - home blog, groups of products - about me page and privacy policy.
Hi Drjec, Thank you for taking the time to reply. I've done the research and broke done the topics to discuss. Amazon has lots of products as other affiliates. So do you suggest I set up the site with my menu, about, etc, then blog about the products with an affiliate link. Once I've created that then I can set up an ecommerce component? My other question is there a criteria for affiliates prior to signing on with them? Thanks for reaching out! Have a great day! Cheers
