Another Amazon commission - $0.88!

I would love to be making more from my Amazon links. I have them all over my website. However, I still need to get more traffic and figure out which products to review.

Amazon has reviews on its site, so I think Amazon shoppers are likely to be going directly to Amazon and then reading the reviews that are under the product. If anyone has any wonderful tips for me on making Amazon commissions, please let me know!

Congrats Melinda.

Tried and true

Hi Melinda,
I am making more and more money with Amazon and its all because I first created posts that helped people. I then started adding reviews with targeted keywords and people started going to Amazon and buying things!

I’d love to check out your site and see what you mean. I’ve been writing posts that I thought were informative and helpful, but not seeing many amazon sales. I’m 8 months in with over 100 posts.

Also, are you using paid traffic?

Wow I am so slow because I cannot sit at a computer long because of my back. That's great that you have surpassed 100 posts!
My site is superabs50.com. Let me know what your site is and maybe we can exchange comments.

I love your site! I’ll definitely comment on some posts! Thank you!

Thank you so much! I am checking out your site and will leave comments for you also. I noticed on your profile you have your sites listed.

I love your health site Melinda! However, I didn't see where to leave comments.

Are you targeting a particular product or using a shotgun approach?
If the latter I suspect you success rate will be pretty low.
Much better to laser target a product and focus on getting the traffic that is after that particular product.
I'm also of the opinion that you should leave affiliate links off until you are getting decent traffic and only then add them.
Hopefully someone wiser will come along and give you more specific help.

So, I have about 500-600 visitors per month. I'm making clickbank sales just about everyday. I am not targeting one product for the whole website. I will review an Amazon product on occasion. I alternate between a keyword rich informative post and a review post. Most of my reviews are clickbank products due to the higher commission, however, I do have some product reviews that are relevant to the ketogenic diet, which is what my site is about.

That's pretty decent traffic I would think.
I'm interested to learn that Clickbank products are still selling.
And you have an interesting modus operandi.
So as I understand it you are having sales (mainly CB) from reviewing products - presumably these are KW targeted.
And from those reviews you are also getting the odd click through to Amazon but sales are not converting as high as you want?
If that is the case maybe try directing a few of those Amazon links to a landing page which gives more detail (in the form of a review for that specific product) before passing them through to Amazon.
Its an extra step for the customer but could reinforce the value of the product.
Hope that makes sense.
The results could be interesting,
