The Technically-Worst Video Ever on YouTube is MINE!
Dear WA Tribe,
As I mentioned in my last blog post "When Adversity Strikes" (https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/megawealthy9/blog/when-adver...), I spent my whole day yesterday and part of the night working on and publishing the 2nd video for my YouTube channel.
So here it is now out there... in the YouTube Universe... the technically-worst video ever... and I don't even know if this is correct English grammar... hahaha!! ;-)
Why? Oh Why?
WHY? Oh WHY did I publish a video with such a poor light, sound, image... quality? (It's not that bad at the beginning but watch for a few minutes and you'll see what I mean...)
The main reason is because I had committed to do it yesterday.
But there is also a second reason... This may be the worst video ever in terms of techniques (light, image, sound, transition...) but this is ALSO most likely the MOST IMPACTING VIDEO A CAMERA-SHY PERSON CAN WATCH TO OVERCOME THEIR CAMERA-SHYNESS so far.
That's why I decided to post it anyway...
Ideally, I have BOTH quality content AND quality format... but QUALITY CONTENT is the most important in my eyes... :-)
It would most likely have taken me at least another week or two to make this video otherwise.
So if one person can be helped through it, then this was all worth it! And if they have the courage to overlook the technical challenges, bless their heart! :-) <3

Why am I writing about this today?
Because all too often, we know we can do better and so we keep on working on the same project over and over... until, often, we just get tired of it, never satisfied, and we give up... perfectionism comes to mind...
Sometimes, an oppportunity to experience partial mediocrity and partial excellence can force us to choose to either see the glass half empty or the glass half full...
I choose to believe that the glass is completely full... Half is full of water and the other half is full of air...
And if you think that half a glass of air is negligeable, then see how you would reconsider your opinion if you were trapped somewhere with no air circulation and that half a glass of air could save your life until the rescue arrives... :-)

Absolutely, Dave! :-) And I think that's why I felt uncomfortable for some parts of this videos, when I was not speaking from my heart but from my head, to explain some of the "theory" and to guide through the tapping... Ideally, one day, I can do everything from my heart. :-)

Haha! I looked again and thought I was hallucinating til I read your response. This was the hands down best video I ever watched. The lighting is relaxing. My inner child wants to hug you and my big self wants to also let you know a big aha for me. No wonder! My dad gave me his genes, he survived World War 2, Korea, and 3 Tours of Vietnam. So my fightyflightyfreeze response maybe a little over the top. My little child was homeless. She was not very afraid to stand on a table but didnt have one, so flipped over a garbage can and said "HAAaaaaY I AM SPECIAL!"
I think this tapping can help. I tapped the little Becky and she snapped at me: "if I can get on a trash can, you can make a video Nurse Becca":):):)

It makes sense to have low lighting like nonoharmacological pain relief but the emotional type. I never thought of that either, you make a great example. And a big difference to me.

You are doing the right thing. Just keep working at it and I know your videos will be great. I'm the same way, wanting perfection is one of my flaws. I personally don't think there is such a thing as perfection. If something is perfect there is nothing to work for.

1. You have stepped out and accomplished something that many will never even attempt.
2. You have learned by mistakes. Learning through our errors is often more apt to be retained than somebody else telling us. Showing is better than telling even when we show ourselves.
3. By sharing both your success and disappointment you are exposing the wonderful person you are to all. Exposing our inner self to others creates greater credit ability.

I am really blessed to be able to see all this myself too. I had the privilege to have the most wonderful grandmother who thought that everything I did was beautiful!
