Writing Techniques for Amazing Blogs

In today's post, I want to share my writing techniques with you: I hope you find them interesting and maybe share yours with me.

The Importance of Writing (a lot)

We all know that when we create our first blog we have to fill it with content.

Written words are in fact essential to allow Google Spiders to search for our content and to index it and then make it go up in rankings.

When a site is very new, however, and it has only a few articles, it takes about three to six months for Google to show our pages within its results.

Even if we have correctly connected our Search Console and the sitemap of the site.

Therefore indexed -Google knows that our site exists- before seeing people find our content through organic search, several months can pass as it can be strongly demotivating.

So perhaps in the first weeks or the first month, we tend to write a lot, publish a lot of content and then find ourselves realizing that Google does not find us and that no one comes to visit our pages. 😣😣😣

This makes us lose the desire to move forward.

It is obviously a huge mistake because it is precisely the constancy and our consistency that will allow us to be then even become FIRST within some google pages for some of our keywords!

Just for this today, I want to share with you which techniques I use in order not to lose motivation!

I Speak Out Loud

The first fundamental technique I discovered, was when I had to write the thesis.

I graduated while I was working full-time and obviously beyond the tiredness I had little time to devote to writing.

For this I started using a voice dictation system every time possible.

Even while I was at work, in the moments of pause, if I came up with ideas for the thesis I simply recorded them in a voice message which I then wrote on a Google document and reported inside my thesis file, mainly dealing with proofreading,

I realized that this speeds up my work a lot because when speaking you don't realize it, but we talk for two or three minutes and we find ourselves text of over 3000 words!!!

Often if we put ourselves in front of the blank screen it leads to the so-called "writer's block" and we can't come up with a single word that is one.

Focus! Focus! Focus!

Another method that I find very interesting is to take days to write.

If I decide that two or three days a week will be dedicated to writing articles for my blog, I dedicate myself only to what I write.

I choose keywords, I format it, I put the images, I establish meta-title and so on, and when they are ready I schedule them to come out at regular intervals.

This allows me to have always ready-to-go content which is published regularly even two or three times a week, while I am already writing articles for the following weeks or even for the following months.

This allows me to have to stay focused and to have a lot of content to share, and not overthink about what I have to write, because otherwise (as happens to everyone) seeing that the contents take so long to be found by users I would also lose motivation.

In this way instead, the work goes on automatically, because since I had to say "Enough! I got tired of writing!" in reality, I already have several articles ready to come out in the following weeks and months and therefore I never HAVE the time to completely lose motivation!
