I get this error "The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini" I have no clue why.

Thank you everyone for the replies. I used FileZilla to manually upload the theme and it worked

I just uploaded a new theme to my site. The theme has to be in zip format and then you just hit install and then activate the new theme

This issue has come out before, you cannot really change the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini

I believe that there is a WP plugin to bypass this limitation, I must find it...
