Why do I continue doing this? Why do you?
As I reflect on the last few years I keep thinking why do i keep on going. It is risky, I've lost a lot of money, it takes effort and discipline.
I come to the conclusion that I am a risk taker, and i don't want to work for anyone after i get out of the military. i think I may punch someone in the face if I get too frustrated at a 9 - 5 job, just kidding, but seriously the prospect of having to work at a regular job is not very appealing.
People would say "but it's a job, think of the money you could make" and I say to myself I don't care about the money, I just want to enjoy what I do and I want to have control of my schedule.
People may have different reasons whether it's comfort, freedom, flexibility, money, or everything combined but I think we all have something in common which is to break free from something like having a boss that we know we are going to hate in a few months, or a routine, I think
So here we go again, one more venture but I think this time it is for real, so why do i do this? Because I know sooner or later I will break free and actually enjoy what I do.
And why do you continue doing it? Take care.

I came here with the hope of eventually earning a sustainable income from my website so that I can have financial freedom. I have seen others realise a similar goal and I believe I can too, so I continue doing this.
My husband was a civilian contractor for about ten years, office jobs frustrate him and he says a similar thing about wanting to punch people in the face. I'm hoping to earn enough income that he can do something he likes to do rather than just something that pays the bills. Good luck to both of us!
