Images are powerful tools to get traffic
i remember when I started blogging and sometimes I would try to post images but they just would not work. The images would be too big or too blurry; in the end sometimes I would just give up. Later down the road I created a facebook page about soccer and when I posted images the traffic doubled. I started researching and found photoshop as the best image editing software but it was very expensive. I looked for alternatives and found Gimp, a free image editing software, it takes a little bit of patience to learn but it's definitely worth it.
These days I try to post images every time I post because the response will be high, I still have Gimp, I also own Paint Pro Shop 6 and I also have photoshop since it is subscription based now. I also took a college course on image enhancement and it helped me a lot when using photoshop.
I really think it's a good idea to have image editing software because it's another tool to engage the audience with images that stand out. Again it can be Gimp which is free, or PaintPro Shop which is less than $100 or photoshop. Either way Images are powerful.

I completely agree with you. It's definitely worthwhile to have appropriate software to make adjustments to photos. "A picture is worth a thousand words."
