No Success With Affiliate Marketing?
After many months of making websites and creating content on a daily basis, the results are very small. You see, I have 3 websites and I am doing this for almost 8 months.
Through that period of time, I've learned so much about websites and everything related to them. Of course, I've finished Wealthy Affiliate training courses and I found many other different sources of information about this particular branch of business.
I love what I do and I love writing and creating websites. Doing what you love is great and it should be a goal for every man and women out there. Do what you love and it will make you happy.
But there is the other side of the coin. Doing what you love is the right path, but we live in a society where money is needed to live. You need to eat and pay your bills to live.
I do not live in a Buddhist sanctuary so I don't have to pay for my food, bills or clothes. I live in a town where money is needed to preserve your life and hopefully, to get some enjoyment from it, not only working for bare survival.
After many months of creating content, from monday to sunday, I just started to lose my patience. I had incomes from my sites, but these amounts are small and I payed way more for hosting and domains thought these months.
Recently, I went to see the analytics for my webpages and for now, traffic is not looking good and there were no incomes for almost a month. I tried many different strategies and methods which can actually earn you some money, but every door closed right before me.
And now, I got sick of trying going over and over with no results. I spend a lot of time in marketing, SEO, design, logo, website and content creating. Everyday I spend hours and hours on trying to get this work, but the results are little.
I am also learning HTML5 and CSS coding at the moment, but I am not enough skilled yet do to this particular jobs. Only solid knowledge I have for earning some money is by making websites and to do my best to optimize it and to create high quality content.
Now I am asking you : what should I do? I really don't have any other solutions or ideas at the moment. I try many different things with these websites and with other things in my life. It is hard to find doors which will actually lead me to somewhere. That is why I am asking you this question.

I think you need to keep adjusting things. Possibly another niche. You have not been at it that long. Anything that you do will cost you time and possibly money to get it completely right. Possibly find work where you can be flexible enough to work your internet business, but bring in cash to support yourself. I would hate to tell you how many years I spent in school before I could get the level of job I wanted. Keep on pushing.
8 months is not that long! If you think about it, many people who go to college, spend 4-6 years to graduate and maybe some more years to make a steady income.!
I am working on my website for almost 2 months now and when I get a little bit frustrated and pessimistic, I am thinking that if I keep going, I might have a steady income in 3 years.
3 years might seem like a long time, but it is really not when you realize that this website is your personal business, which is built from scratch.!

I am sad to hear Your story. I can only guess around. What about choosing a totally different niche and start over? Do You do diligent work in keyword research? Do You try to promote the Wealthy Affiliate membership on social media?

I can tell you that Affiliate marketing can take a while becuase it is all about content. I earn a lot quicker through eCommerce.
