I Got Fired Today!
It wasn't exactly what I had planned for the day, but my boss at the daycare texted me and told me that I didn't need to bother coming back in ever again.
The reason? I wanted the day off to go with my daughters on their school field trip, and she didn't want to give it to me. So I called in (after telling her I was going to), and she lyingly accused me of saying I was going to quit if she didn't give me the day off. And since I didn't show up (after I warned her I wouldn't), I was terminated.
This all by text. Not to my face.
Aside from annoyance at having been lied to and having my words and actions apparently seriously misconstrued, the overwhelming emotion I felt was ... JOY. And relief.
I am SO VERY HAPPY to be free of the chains of that job, which (if I'm honest) I have to admit I was beginning to hate.
Just the other day, I was bemoaning the fact that I have very little time to work on my blog, even less to work on my fiction books, and I don't get to spend nearly as much time with my girls as I'd like because I have to always be working when they're off on breaks
Well, make that, I HAD to always be working when they're off on breaks.
Not anymore!
So, now that I don't have to go in to work tomorrow, what am I going to do?
Work on my blog, of course. And maybe write a few words of fiction. And hit the WA Certification courses HARD so I can get started on affiliate bootcamp. I'm PUMPED!!

You know some people can be so awful and lying just makes it worse.
I can't say I am sorry you lost your job because that lady sounds like a nasty piece of work.
Anyways Imagine her face when your Online Business Takes off.
