My First Review
I found out that writing reviews is more fun than I thought as I like smart home tech and automation technology.
I am involved in Home Automation for a while, so I ve got knowledge to write about it, hence I am making my own Hub with OpenHab which is open source and It can connect with lots of our devices like heat pump and radiators, I also made it work with my own devices based on ESP8266 WiFi chip.
As I don't own SmartThings Hub that I reviewed, I have few concerns about copyrights on pictures. I went by the rule of taking only parts of pictures and adding my own content to picture or getting royalty free.
I ve read on the Course from @nathaniell that it is actually great to review things you don't own as it is more unbiased. But I struggled to get pictures from royalty free websites all want fees.
Not sure how to determine what is copyright protected and what allows Fair Use, and how that relates with the fact that I am promoting the same product as on the picture.
I we noticed that my website is not indexed by google yet but that is probably normal as this review was the first real content (even though it is up for few days). But I am glad that google lighthouse tool and WA tool say that SEO and Content are 100% sorted.
Future Ideas : Software and Subscription services
I found out that software and subscriptions have great commissions and I am searching for great value of my work that I put in. Amazon commissions need intense traffic all the time versus subscriptions where I get and hopefully keep customers that got to the services through my affiliate links.
I mean . I have programming skills and I know many types of software that I use that I can recommend and talk about. Also, programming learning courses come across my head .
Now I am searching for Software and Subscription platforms that support Affiliates.
I am also planning to keep on the home automation niche because it is awesome.
So any recommendations regarding Software and subscription platforms are more than welcome.

Hi - now you have Amazon links, you need an Affiliate Disclosure. There is a template in Site Content you can adapt. Plus you need an email address in your Privacy Policy. Both of these are legal requirements.
I think this is a great niche because of the demand as well as the upgrades that are constantly being made. Thanks for sharing.
