Jumping Around too much
I think I may have over done and over thought the website names. I think both my website names www.bestsidebusinesses.com and www.viewhikes.com are probably too general. I don't like the layout or direction bestsidebusinesses website so far. It doesn't seem to flow like I would want it too. I'm liking viewhikes and I just started that one a few days ago. It seems to be coming together nicely. But bestsidebusinesses is not going where I would like it to go. I need to work on the direction and organization I think. I just don't have a clear picture of what its suppose to look like yet. I may end up scrapping it altogether.
This journey so far has been exciting and the idea of starting something on the side would be a god send. However, I know its going to take time and patience. My ultimate motivation is help bring work life balance into our home. A two year plan to scale down and live a simpler life. That is so darn appealing. Even though I truly love my job I would like to have something in addition to my day job as a back up plan.

Hello!!! I visited both of your websites and they are both appealing depending on will read them, for those interested in online business, the side business is nice, to those who like adventures, the second one has an appeal also, I like those scenery that are all attractive, at least I can see places virtually which I haven't visited myself.
Just focus on what interests you at this time. Creativity can't be rushed. It'll come at the right time. I deleted my first sight altogether, but I plan to go back to that idea later on. Congratulations to you!
Do what you feel best for you. If I don't like the Domain I had, I would rather not use it from the start. Regards Sadie
Just some thoughts...focus on what gives you energy right now. Sounds like viewhikes is doing that and the bestsidebusinesses is not. Let it go for awhile. It's not fatal to let it just sit idle. You may wake up at 2am, 3 months from now just knowing what you didn't see before and have renewed energy to modify your direction with that to something new and exciting. Clearly, if you're not excited about it, it's not going to gel and become something fantastic. Happens to the best of us. Inspiration will come. It sometimes just takes awhile.

Congratulations on getting both websites up and running. Your passion comes through on both sites. If you are struggling for direction. Take 10 minutes to sit down with a pen/pencil and paper and sketch out your ideas/direction. This then helps you pull in the online website. I have done this ofetn when designing websites for clients...
Thanks I will try that. I heard something about the creativity that naturally develops when you bring pencil to paper. Sometimes I think going back to basics is important. Have a great one!
