I'm one of those people who just can't seem to retire. In earlier days I would have been called a job hopper, but now it seems career change is considered a normal means of survival. I have degrees in chemistry and social work, but have also been a teacher, building inspector, tax assessor, bookkeeper and had my own yarn dyeing business.
I've been interested in computers since 1978 when I bought my first one that had to be soldered together from a kit, and have been on the internet since 1995. A good friend is a long-time web guru, and she got me interested in setting up websites, but criteria for success keep changing, so I hope Wealthy Affiliates will bring me up to date. My main hobbies are reading and knitting (sometimes engaged in simultaneously through audiobooks), but I also enjoy gardening, traveling, and my dog.
I have a wonderful daughter, and her husband is a great son-in-law. They have a business-to-business communications company that's grown from the two of them in the back bedroom to over 100 employees in a remodeled building they own, so I'm very proud of them. I'm looking forward to this program so we can all celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit together!
