Hey there,
I am here with an update on my YouTube channel for Fun Shores Ahead, my family travel brand that focuses on beach travel. Before starting this journey, I already had a couple of videos up on the channel but mostly shorts that did ok but nothing consistent. I'll post my channel analytics further down.
In the last update (👉🏾 Here), I shared my setup, added the banner, logo, description and shared a bit about the editing software and plans I have.
Now it was time to get things rolling as I had been putting this particular video off for a while. I also had a few hiccups because I forgot to turn on the microphone when I first recorded the main part. So I had to make some adjustments but it all worked out.

In the end, I created a bumper which came out beautifully and got the video up on the channel. You can see the video here.
Its not perfect, but its there, lol.
YouTube Stats - April 2026
Attached is my stats as of today, April 4, 2026. I have 38 views and 1 new subscriber.
I do plan to create more short form video and repurpose across multiple platforms.
