End of 2019 - New Beginning in 2020
End of 2019
The end of 2019 is fast approaching, which I am sure you are all aware of. So many times we wish time in our life away and we are all guilty of this.
Think back to when you were coming up on getting your driver's license or becoming legal age to drink. What were your favorite things you would say?
Wow, I cannot wait until I am old enough to drive or go out drinking with my friends. I am guilty the same as the rest of you.
This year I did not wish very much of my time away but instead had it taken from me with life getting in the way of my goals.
Unfortunately, as we get older responsibilities can take over parts of our lives that we do not plan for them to happen.
Exactly what happened to me this year. I was forced to make a choice between WA and taking care of my mother. Not a great choice being put in that position I did choose my mother.
Spending the summer with her was time I will have the memory of when she is gone that is non-replaceable. Not that I want her to leave us anytime soon either.
But the result was that my business suffered greatly due to my lack of attention to my websites meaning my goals for 2019 were totally wiped out.
Returning to Work
After a three-month break, returning to work has been difficult not that I was not hyped and ready to get back to work, I really was.
But, you know there is always a but, being out of the loop for three months seemed like forever a lifetime ago.
Needless to say getting back into a routine for posting to my websites has not been exactly the easiest thing I have ever accomplished.
In reality, I am still having time management problems to deal with. Researching more about how I should be running my online business has opened my eyes to more tasks needing done.
A three-month break really hurt my websites for posting and traffic, when I stopped posting my traffic dropped off to almost nothing.
Now that I am back it is starting to pick up and almost to where it was prior to me having to take the time off.
Still, I have a very long way to go before I am where I want to be with posting and how my websites are set up and running.
So Little Time So Much To Do
With only 19 days left in 2019 getting everything accomplished that needs to be done is going to be a difficult task. Time management is the main problem when it comes my accomplishments.
Not only do I need to figure out all that must be wrapped up for this year in those 19 days but I must begin to set my goals for 2020!
In 2018, setting my goals high was great except finding out they were unrealistic or unattainable as time would prove.
This year I am going to take it slower more of a relaxed pace instead of a full-gallop taking off out the gate.
Organization could be another reason I did not meet some of my goals in 2019 this will be a bigger priority come 2020.
Consistent posting must be the highest on my priority list with the time management I must learn to schedule my posts.
In 2019 I felt that posting as soon as a post was complete would be the best way to go. I am beginning to feel waiting 24 hours and reading the final post would be best.
Waiting that 24 hours will give you fresh eyes for errors or things that need to be edited prior to posting them on the website.
New Beginning 2020
When I was a teenager had anyone told me I would still be around for the year 2020, you know I was laughing, thinking I will never see that year.
But here I am planning on making 2020, the beginning of a new decade, a NEW BEGINNING for my online business.
Non-believers or naysayers when it comes to making money online are the people that are going to try to talk you out of an online business.
I have those in my life, including my own family, however I am here to prove them all wrong. With proof this does WORK if you are willing to put in the work and time.
No, I am not making any big substantial monthly income yet but I have earned money thanks to what I have learned here at WA.
Finding that selecting highly competitive niches on my part might not have been the best way to begin online, it is a bit late now I am in it for the long haul.
It all has to do with finding the low-hanging keywords in order to rank in the highly competitive niches that makes the difference.
Anyone who is looking to start an online business needs to know WA is the only place to be with a community of like-minded individuals helping you every step of the way.
I want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you who has taken the time to help me along my journey.
A Special Thank You to Carson, Kyle, and Jay for what they offer us daily. This opportunity can only be described as the best of the best.
Say Goodbye to 2019 and Welcome 2020!
Blessings and best wishes to you all,
Susan

Jerry,
Thank you. I know I have found mine it is just the time
involved in getting to where I want to be. LOL

Hi Susan,
You certainly made the right decision when you paused Wealthy Affiliate to spend with your mother. You can't believe how much you miss them when their gone.
Welcome back to WA. It sounds like you have it figured out and I'm sure you'll have even better success this time around.
You mentioned a couple of items that I could relate to & need to think about and I thank you for that.
Best of luck going forward,
Don
Don,
Thank you. This community means the world to me! If you
ever need any assistance do not hesitate to ask, I am always
willing to lend a hand to anyone here.
Pausing WA was a tough decision but I know that I made the
right one. Thanks for backing me up on that.
Best wishes to a fantastic 2020,
Susan
Christine,
Thank you. Feeling guilty over making life decisions is
not going to solve anything and letting others know it is
possible to catch up once you have taken care of
responsibilities outside of WA lets them know things
will be alright.
Best wishes,
Susan
