Over the many years there has been one thing more than any other that I have been rather good at...."Customer Relations"

Having good customer relations means that you are in tune with your customers and on top of their needs.

Email marketing has a lot in common with Customer Relations....as you are building trust and a rapore with your online audience.

First of all let us be in no doubt...when done right, email marketing can be extremely profitable. You don’t need a massive list and have to blast them with offers several times a day to make a decent living writing and sending emails.

Regardless of the ever changing tech online, email marketing is and will continue to be one of the most effective evergreen income strategies out there...period.

Find a market with a need, grow your list, build a relationship with your readers, and then make them offers for things they need.

That's right, it is not a big secret nor is it breaking news but there it is, the plan for you to make a decent online income and that is what we’re going to focus on over the coming 30 Days. If you’re up for a challenge, I invite you to come along and commit to working on your own email marketing throughout the month alongside me.

Regardless of what stage you are at in your own online journey here on the WA platform, whether you are a complete newbie, or you are more experienced but have been a little negligent with your list building, haven’t emailed your readers in a while, or are starting from scratch with a small list, don’t despair. Remember, like nearly everything else you will ever do in your life which requires effort and dedication, the key to successful email marketing is consistency. You have to stay on your readers’ mind and they have to learn to trust you. Once you become a reliable source of information, it makes it that much easier to then convince your readers to become customers.

The goal then is to get subscribers on your list, introduce yourself to them, and provide them with the information and tools they need, sprinkling offers along the way. That’s how you’ll quickly and easily turn writing emails into a full-time business. And hopefully you’ll do it without sounding like a used cars salesman :)

Email marketing isn’t about spamming your community. It’s about providing a service to your followers by educating and sharing resources. In exchange, when you make a product recommendation, you make an affiliate commission, or profit from the sale of your own products. It really is as simple as that.

The key is being consistent while being helpful.

You have to reach your audience.

You have to connect with them.

You have to full-fill a need or be of service to them in one way or the other.

Do that and making sales becomes easy.

Over the next 29 days I will attempt to offer a variety of tips and techniques that will help us improve our email marketing skills.

This essentially will involve planning so we know what to email about. We’ll talk about relationship building and how to make sure you give your readers what they need.

Along the way, I also have some tried and tested copywriting advice for you, so we can get better at crafting subject lines providing emails our readers will want to open and read.
