My brand is named "Marked 4 Glory". I had already chosen this name a few months ago and registered marked4glory.com, but still let me know what you think.

No such thing as a bad niche Mark. Just do all of your research and be the best you can in setting it all up.
To build on what WRyan said, think of the what the before person looks like and what the after person looks like. Your strategy seems aimed at a very specific group of people. You are using a three prong approach to helping the person reach their goals. Maybe give some more thought to what is the goal the person would or could reach through your site. Is it a reduction in pain? Is it using mindful fitness to increase flexibility? Maybe think more about what the after would be. I really like the idea you are presenting and having a chronic illness can be difficult to manage but does not mean that people don't want to have better health outcomes through fitness and nutrition. You may want to back away from the personal development as that will probably come through the other stuff. If you focus on the body through the fitness and the nutrition, your success stories will include the inspiration. I like the name of the blog.
Thanks for taking the time to give me great feedback. I'm working on documentation around brand definition and I'll do my best to incorporate your ideas.
I am totally new at all this so please get more feedback :). I was told that my niche was too broad a few days ago so that is why I have some thoughts on it. I too am trying to ensure I get to the right spot with my niche. I found that I was jumping ahead in the training and then when i actually completed it, my product was much stronger. I want to be all done with everything but it takes time to get through the training and the set up. Good luck.
I am unsure if my other reply went through so please forgive me if I end up saying this twice. I am pretty new to all this so make sure to get more feedback. I have been struggling with my niche being too large and ended up splitting it. I am a professional organizer but also a special education teacher and wanted to combine the two for parents of children with disabilities. I ended up splitting them and being much more focused on the parent angle. You definitely know your stuff and maybe could benefit from having them be separate blogs - one for the nutrition/fitness, one for the motivation/inspiration piece. Marital arts has helped me tremendously with my joint flexibility so I understand wanting to share it.
I love it personally. Some might argue that since you are doing fitness/health/nutrition that that might be too much, but it's really more about the specific group of people you are targeting. As long as you know the person you are targeting, you are golden.
And by know, I don't necessarily mean you can write a biography over him. I mean you just sort of intuitively "feel" what he/she is going to be like. It's much more about pegging their interest than anything and the mark of a an entrepreneur who is on to something usually is that they can't exactly describe what it is or what it does.

Hey all. I've crafted my content strategy (https://1drv.ms/b/s!Alpi1DVka4LYgmSQdxvSmd1doWdK). Let me know what you think. Also, I've put up my first post (http://marked4glory.com/the-long-road). It isn't much, but every master starts out as a disaster!
Additionally, I've had a preliminary meeting with some possible contributors. I have someone working on my logo. And, I've been actively recruiting people from related Facebook groups for a mailing list down the road.
Have a wildly awesome day!

I will have very little content once I launch my blog. Should I start promotion right from the start or wait until I've built up a bank of content?
Anytime really - this also this depends how you plan on promoting your site - if you are doing PPC then you want to have a good foundation and a healthy amount of content.
If you are using organic SEO to gain traffic, then it's the content you create that will bring your traffic, and the more you create the more traffic you can generate.

Hey everyone! Sorry for the super long post.
Just a reminder, my site (www.learngraphicdesigntoday.com
Wow Mark!
Very thorough and well thought out plan.
I would add keyword research into your plan. It is very important that you write about topics that people are searching for.
You could create a ton of awesome content, but if no one is searching for that content, you won't have any readers.
Also use the keyword research to find low competition keywords that you have a chance of ranking on the first page of google.
Again Mark, great content strategy and schedule. Add keyword research and stick to your plan and you'll see your traffic numbers go through the roof.
Best,
JV

I'm building some curated lists and would like to have WordPress allow me to choose the best image from the link and insert it in my post. Anyone know how to do this?
Hey there!
I am not too sure on what you are trying to achieve. Do you want your text links to generate some related images? Can you clarify a bit more?
In the meantime, check this out: https://en.support.wordpress.com/images/
Cheers =)
Thanks for getting back to me. Please look at the link below. I am wondering if there's a way to automatically select images from a specified link instead of manually downloading and posting the image to WordPress.
I am making curated lists and it would save some time if I could do it quicker.

Hey there!
I don't think it is possible to do that. I am afraid doing it manually is the only way to go.
I'm seeing that. I have a lot of articles to do and would like to somewhat automate the process. Thanks anyway. I hope to have my site up by June 1st.

Looks very good and well written. It's clean and easy to follow. You will want to turn on the comments for your pages for people to leave comments. You will learn that pretty soon if you are following the training. On another note I am very excited about this website BECAUSE guess what's on my goal list for this year? Yep, that's right learn graphic design. Don't believe me check out my blog here on WA. Super looking forward to learning with you.
Hello Mark!
Looks like you have a great start to your website. Your "About Me" page was a pleasure to read and easy to understand. I think the length of your page is just nice.
Don't worry. Your website is still new, but as you progress here at WA, you will have a better idea on how to develop your content. You will also probably develop a writing style that is unique to you.
All the best to your website =)
