Adsense very confusing?

AdSense very confusing we had no video training on this section it was very confusing for me. The first thing I had big trouble with is auto ads popping up everywhere on my site I had no control over them.
This is what I learned and wish I would have been told this in the very beginning it would have saved me a week of frustration. I was so frustrated the I contemplated just removing AdSense all together. So, I will have shared what I have learned and maybe save you a week’s frustration too.
This is very important when putting your verification code into your website if you do not want auto ads popping up all over you must change page level ads to false!!!
When you get your code, it will look like this (enable_page_level_ads: true) you must change it to false so it will read like this (enable_page_level_ads: false)!!!
Then you can go to ad units and add ads manually with the code given by ad units where ever you like on your site.
You may have to wait for this to take effect or clear your browser of it data in order for this to take effect this helped me drastically it may work for you or it may not work just trying to help you save some time and frustration.

I am using ads-inserter to have a total control over all my ads not restrictive to adsense. You can control where the ads to show and where it should not..

Thanks Mark - good tip for me to look out for now I'm working through Level 3.
I'm still not sure about adding ads at all... I hate them on the sites I visit so I'm not sure I can bring myself to add them to mine! :D
Lots of problems for me. I am not sure how I feel about the ads just following the training.
What I have found they are not so bad if you can control them.
