It's my understanding that you choose your store ID at the time of registration - this was the response to the same question when asked in chat and was answered by an experienced Amazon affiliate.
I don't understand what you're saying nor what drjec is saying, but I suppose I'll figure it out later when the time comes.
Hey :)
In case you will apply to amazon affiliate on the application you need to write the store ID which will be your store let's say as affiliate!
Have a great day
Is the "store" the domain name?, for example, let's say it's piescakesgoodies.com, then would the store ID be Pies, Cakes, Goodies? (I still don't get it.)
The Store ID is user created, aka it's what every you want it to be (but it must be unique when compared to all other store ids).
Well, I haven't applied for Amazon affiliates and haven't even read anything about it yet, but I'm sure I'll be able to figure it out when I need to. But are you saying "store ID" which they require you put on application form is DIFFERENT from domain name?
I still didn't quite understand, so I Googled "Amazon affiliate store ID" and found a couple of WA members' blog posts on the first page. It seems this Amazon "store ID" is similar to a username, would that be correct?
