A new week, new results.Everything's going to be great!
I woke up this morning and decided to check my stats on various platforms, to see how well my social marketing efforts from last week have paid off thus far.
As those who have been following my blog know, I am trying to determine if "social marketing" is worth a bother or not so I have been testing a few things on 2 sites (I call them my junk sites, they do nothing but sit there for the most part).
I can say that my income for those 2 sites is improving, I have made some more amazon sales and also achieved one residual referral for another site that pays in recurring income.
I do not consider this bad at all considering that one of the sites only has 4 or 5 articles, and the other has not really been utilized much at all.
I still have few followers except on Instagram, and I think my Instagram followers is due to my eldest daughter telling all of her pals and friends to follow me, because the people who keep "liking" my shares are people who live in her area, not mine.
It has to be due to her, my cousin liked one of my posts yesterday, a cousin I have not spoken to in years..... So I think she is helping her mother out. She is the one who has been trying to get me to use Instagram now for a somewhat long time.
I will say that my "social marketing" experiments are over, I have learned enough to where I feel I do not want to learn anymore for now. I am pleased with my efforts, and will basically continue using the system I have set up that seems to be working rather well for me.
I am looking forward to a new week with new results as I get back to my typical schedule of creating content like crazy.

Looks like you have a good handle on social marketing! It's always best to try a couple of things then let those simmer for a while before making more changes.
You're fortunate to have your daughter's friends follow you on IG - that's where a lot of us get our first traffic! One follower will begat another, then another...it has to start somewhere!
I think I have it where I can now share pretty well, I am still working on improving my Canva images, but all in all. I do feel that I am doing much better than I was last year!
I still am trying very hard to understand the follow progress.
I have one lady I follow on instagram that posts such beautiful eye-candy, she makes the most beautiful handmade dolls.
I can't seem to have it show her all the time, because she is my fave, but when I do log into Instagram and see one of her latest beauties, it just seems to brighten my day so much that it's as if nothing can stop me.
Her dolls remind me of my goals, because once certain goals are reached, I will be adopting one of those dear precious dolls for myself.
It's rare for me to me that impressed with anything, but to be able to share as she does, with content that others will love, is something I do desperately want to master.
That is so sweet and shows we can find inspiration in the most unlikely places!
