Hi Chris,
The tech niche is very competative, with a lot of big players in so my advice for ehat it' worth is to specialise until you get an aaudience.
You say you are a programmer so why not specialise in what programmers need to operate. Hardware, software, office furnture - standing desks, etc.
How do you keep fit as a programmer, how do you get deas for your programs.
Top 10 reviews always go down well, they take more work but people like the options and often don't go for the top one in your list.
Make sure you use the buying terms within your post to get the audience in the buying mood rather than information collection.
Good luck with your online adventure

Hi Phil,

I totally agree with you. This is a really good advice I am going to try to implement it in my plan for the content of the website. I thank you for your insight and suggestions.

Wish you all the best !

It is a broad niche, but I don't think too broad. Just remember it may take slightly longer for you to see positive results due to it being a broader niche!

Ok duly noted. Thank you for the insight I appreciate it!

Great niche Manu! I'm in the technology niche as well and write articles about Pc hardware and games, as well as articles for helping purposes. I believe that you have many ideas roaming around in your head! Don't overthink it and just start writing. You will get better over time. Just don't forget to use the WA Tool or Jaaxy to tackle some great keywords.

Check out my website and tell me what you think!

Thank you for the encouragement brother I appreciate it ! I just started 2 days ago I think it will take me at least 2-3 months to get quality content as on your website. I really dig it ! Your homepage is what I had in mind for me it's really clean and well built.

Only thing I would suggest is to give a grey background and font color white to the text on the sliders it will be much clearer :) Other than that it looks perfect !

Hi, Manu!
To me, since your site is to review technologies, you can do many reviews in it. I fill it ok

Thank you for the feedback Bibian !

I find it too broad personally Chris. You can go from a battery operated hand held fan to the technology in a Space ship. When you say technology are you referring to consumer products or more?

I see what you mean. Yes I was referring to consumer electronics, tablets, laptop and such. I am thinking about starting with laptop reviews (about 20-30 of them) and move on the something else like a phone or tablet and go on like this. My end goal is to have different categories of buying guides. I would like to have your opinion on it thanks !

I think it is a good idea. There are so many producers and products. It can be overwhelming for the average consumer.

Exactly my point ! Thank you for the insight sir .

What's Up? and welcome to Wealthy Affiliate. I wouldn't say your niche is too broad. I looked at your website. I looks good and organized so far. I know you just started it but I think maybe your home page should act more like a central nervous system. The laptop advice seems like it should be a page stemming from your home page. Im still new at this myself so that's just my personal thoughts. Work hard in anything in life and you will succeed. Peace!

Hello,

Thank you for your insight ! If I understand you well, the homepage should have like an organized view of all the posts and pages ?

yes

It is a bit too broad, maybe stick with laptops like you have for starters and then expand to other stuff further down the line.
Matthew

Hi Matthew,

Yes that is my goal for now I think I will stick with laptops for at least the next 20 posts thank you !

You're very welcome :)

Hi about your email list: Sure you can promote Wealthy Affiliate to your list, but I think you should be a little more patient and learn more about WA. Good luck!

Hello thank you for your wise words I will wait until I follow the boot camp before promoting.

The journey should be easier for you as a tech geek;follow the training step by step and you will have few problems; With such an email list you have an added advantage;Don't rush it, step by step. You have the tools for success.

Thank you you are certainly right. I will go through all the steps before using my joker card haha. Wish you all the best !

Hello. Do you have access to the SiteContent feature in the Site Rubix tab on left menu? Write your article there and then do the ABC check, it checks for lots of things besides spelling. If you upgrade to premium you can switch SEO to Yoast. It does on page SEO and readability assessments. It really makes you focus on writing quality. For your list, can you find a way to link this to that business. Look at your affiliate links. You could offer them free website to brand themselves with
