A Longer Hiatus Than I Ever Expected

Guess who is back? That's right! I can't believe it's been over a month. I've just been really lazy and my vacation did not help me. I like structure and routine, but I'm not the greatest at getting back on track once I have completely been blown off the path of tenacity.
So, I have been putting this off for a couple of days and decided to just sit down and start writing, something I haven't done in quite some time.
I plan on getting the ball rolling again and by the end of July be back on track to what I really want to happen.
I Took a Week Off
Now, as for my vacation that was a trial in and of itself. I'm not an outdoorsy person, and we went camping in the Black Hills of South Dakota for a week. It was gorgeous . . . and what felt like freezing at night.
There was car problems and a drive that normally takes 8-9 hours took us 17 on the way back home. Other than the car and the fact that I was camping in a tent with the bathrooms a full block away it was wonderful.
Hopefully the family doesn't want to do it again next year. I feel like I'm still trying to recover.
So, I figured since it was almost the middle of July that I would show what little I did in June.
There is however some wonderful news! I gained my first couple of referrals for WA, so if you're reading this thank you so much for signing up!
What I Accomplished in June

June wasn't the best month for me. July isn't going to be the greatest either, but I will be pulling myself back onto the bandwagon and buckling back down. Expect a not so great review for July, but I plan to be back on top in August.
- I wanted to post 13 articles. I only did 8, which isn't too terribly bad.
- I wanted to be 2-3 weeks ahead. I'm barely a week ahead now, so that didn't pan out.
- Complete 4-8 lessons. I did a total of 1.
- Granted this next lesson is how to produce YouTube videos and I am very self-conscious about putting myself on screen for the world to see, so I've been procrastinating.
- Watch 4-6 training replays. The easiest thing on here and I did not a single 1.
- I wanted to get my South Dakota blog post and pics done and up. The blog is typed and ready to go, I just need to get the photos and the video up.
- Yes, my first true YouTube video is going to be my adventures in South Dakota.
- Watch 2-4 movies. I originally wanted these to be in the theatre so I would be out and about, but I stayed home and watched movies, so I guess that kind of counts.
- I also watched 3 movies while traveling to South Dakota, so this is a win for me.

So, yeah, totally bombed in June, will most likely bomb in July, but it has shown me that once I get on top of something I have to stay on top of it or I will be completely trampled and left in the dust.
My Goals For July . . . What's Left of It
So, what do I plan on doing with the rest of July?
- Write and publish 8 posts. That is 3 a week for the rest of July.
- Be at least 1 week ahead in my posts
- Help the newcomers and make sure they understand how to use WA
- Turn out 2 YouTube videos.
- My video for South Dakota counts as 1 and I may do an About Me video
- Complete 2-4 lessons
- Watch 2-4 training replays
- Go out and see at least 1 movie in theatres
- Dust off my DVD collection and watch 3 movies in the comfort of my bedroom
- Take up jump rope once a week
- Update all of my content by making sure I'm linking to the correct posts and pages
I believe that these goals are completely doable and plan on getting myself into the zone and working it out.
Just writing this little article has helped me revive my passion and help me get past whatever rut I happened to be stuck in.
I read a post on here, but can't remember what the title was, but they were right. When you happen to be stuck distancing yourself from the community is a bad idea.
I'm back and plan on sticking it out for the long haul. This should be easier to do since I don't actually have another week of vacation for at least a year.
Wishing you success and happiness on your journey.
Take care,
Michelle/Anne
