So lately I've been struck by a rather serious bout of influenza, rendering me unable to do anything but sleep and sleep and (you guessed it) sleep some more.
As strange (or amazing) as this may sound, my first and foremost concern is my website and how my rankings are inevitably going to drop as a result of decreased content output. Being in bed has made me unable to think, jot down or even write about anything! And that really hurts.
I feel like a parent who has been negligent with his kids, not properly taking care of my site while I'm away. Granted this is probably because of how entirely new I am to this whole thing, and how overly concerned I (probably) am, but it's still kind of worrying!

I've managed to write down the basic structure for another post (and come up with bits and pieces of content) ever since (I haven't fully recovered yet) but thought I'd write this blog down to document my progress here.
I feel like when I (very hopefully) become successful, people will take a look at my WA profile and realize that I wasn't perfect with sticking to schedules or uploading regularly, but with effort and patience anything is possible!
