Hello! Let's Play! (A recap of Starter training week and going Premium)
I'm excited to be in this "Premium" space with you - to learn from you, to share with you, and to be inspired by you.
From someone who has spent many dollars on developing web platforms (in the music community) and also on internet marketing education, I was admittedly quite skeptical when I first signed up to WA, and wasn't for sure if I would want to invest in even MORE internet marketing education. Many of the programs I have paid top $$ for have there own private "groups," where your interaction with others is posting a question and getting on with your day, waiting for an answer, or never getting one at all. Especially from the "gurus" whose program it is.
What I've come to learn in these programs is that I have probably been one of the few that actually am a "doer," in them, and have actually watched the trainings, and have done the work - but I haven't really had any interaction or engagement with others in the program. I have learned in a vacuum.
My experience so far in WA has been quite the opposite, and that is probably the biggest reason I decided to become a premium member (thank you Kyle, Carson, and Jay!).
I so appreciated being able to access all Getting Started lessons for free. Not only did I learn a good bit, but I was able to create my own website, search for keywords in Jaaxy and get insights on them, and be encouraged (and reminded) to engage with the WA community at no cost. I know, I know, outsiders will say that all of this information can be found outside of here, but I am a big fan of everything being in one place, and know for a fact that I learn and produce better as part of a like-minded community rather than being in a vacuum alone.
So, THANK YOU, community! I hope I get to know as many of you as I can!
I'm spending my holiday weekend getting through the next part of the training, and if any of you have WA blog posts about your jumping off point, about your beginning process or about how you got to where you are now, I hope you'll post them in the comments so I can learn from them! I hope I can follow in your footsteps and walk along side your. :)
