Life Beyond Google with Jaaxy
As you may already know, I am the product manager for Jaaxy.
It's a pretty awesome tool and being involved with Jaaxy is a plethora of awesomeness.
Part of my duties is responding to questions about Jaaxy and on of the most often questions I receive is:
"..But Google's Keyword Tools results are different than Jaaxy?"
Yup! Almost every time they will be different. Why?Well, Jaaxy doesn't solely rely on Google's keyword data and we don't buy our search results from Google's provided API service.
This is what MANY other keyword tools do and it doesn't make any sense to me.
Why build a tool that merely repurposes Google's data?
It's like buying 'Search Results PLR'!!
Jaaxy uses a proprietary algorithm that factors all the major search engines for its results.
Yes, there are other search engines than just Google.
Bing
Yahoo
And they generate a ton of traffic..
Plus, with Windows 8 using Bing as it's own default search engine, I suspect more results will be coming from Bing as they are both Microsoft products.
(Tip: Keep an eye on this within your Analytics)
So, the next time you're using Jaaxy - keep the following in mind:
Jaaxy is gathering (proprietary) data from all the major search engines because it KNOWS there is life beyond Google.

Cool, thanks for the info. Question I did a search and Jaaxy told me that there were 800 QSR when I put the term into google with the quotes there were no pages found so it threw back the 800 terms without the quotes. Should jaaxy not responded with 0 instead of 800? The term I used was "angling safety while wading"
Should definitely be "0". Have reported this result. I can assure you that the QSR results are accurate 99% of the time and this case will be looked into. Thanks for letting me know. :)
Jaaxy offers a great deal more in depth research for your keyword searches. You should really try it.
Just to add what you said here, Jaaxy leverages and has access to a ton of data within it's algorithms that we sift through to determine what the expected traffic results are going to be. Are they perfect? No. Is Google perfect? No. Is Bing. No. But we are getting closer and closer to perfect as time goes on.
Remember as well that Bing and Yahoo still own a 3rd of the search market so if you are using a Google only tool you are using data that is inaccurate in terms of search as a whole.
Keywords will fluctuate on a monthly basis and if you make the competition and the relevance of a keyword your centric focus, you will be a successful marketer.
SERIOUS props to the Jaaxy crew, it is amazing all the cool stuff you have going on behind the scenes 24/7!
Very Cool! I have factored a monthly Jaaxy payment into my already small budget. So far I can afford it thank God.
How do I use Jaaxy for creating an Adsense site?
Now I know! I was a little lost with this one, as with much of the new info I have been exposed to. I just subscribed to Jaaxy today and am so excited with the advantage I have over those who don't use it. Fantastic tool, great post! Thanks
