Authoring & Writing Content

I'm curious how much content does one need to produce every week or every month. I'm looking to get your feedback and what are your routines.

More so, I am curious as for

Great question. Adding content to your site is going to be the what keeps your audience with you. Just think of it like this. This is affiliate marketing and your competition is writing content right now. You have to stay ahead until you get a good solid audience. Then probably 3 to 4 posts weekly. But I am just starting out also. So we will see.

Great question... I totally agree with the comments of write as much as you can... every day would be the best for your business. But of course reality hits home and this is not always possible.

I have set myself a goal of 3 posts a week plus one video on Youtube. Even being in a competitive niche in just a few weeks I am starting to see results.

I would set yourself a challenging goal for daily, weekly and monthly tasks. then assess your progress.

Remember what ever the content is, quality over quantity is what I say.

Good luck and keep us updated how you are doing :)

I am trying to write a post a day as only writing two a month had kept me pretty invisible.

I 'm not sure but I know they really great training here so we must through the training and they also have a community of people who are always ready to help out.

It really depends on your niche, Mark. If your niche is very competitive (like the make money online niche or the health niche), then you will have to write every single day in order to see any progress.

For other niche, you should be fine with 10 - 15 posts a month if you can write as much.

However, whatever niche you choose, I do actually recommend to write as often as you can. Publishing one post a day is ideal because the more posts you have on your website, the more "gateways" there will be for visitors to get to you website and thus, more money coming in, much faster!

I hope this helps! :)

That's a really good point Reyhana! Depending how competitive the niche is, then that should dictate the amount or frequency of content that one should produce.

The challenge though with creating content frequently is making them of good quality.

And this is where our lifestyle comes into consideration. Depending on how much time we can spend building our online business, then that will give one a better idea of how much quality content one can produce.

All that being said, I think, it would be best to sort of give some guidance for the newbies to this affiliate marketing business to steer them in the right direction or at least where to start. Sort of give a direction to start in a less competitive niche as they begin on their journey.

Like you said, some niche that are highly competitive would be really hard to get into for someone that is completely starting new.

Just my opinion.

Hi Mark
Everyone is different and I guess it all depends on how bad you want it :)
I write a post each day as I want to have a lot of good content and I also love writing and building my businesses so I find this an easy goal
Some people may write more and some less

Everyone says Content is Key and I totally agree with this 100%

The big earners say- Grow grow grow more content and don't stop and this is how I work as they are successful and I want this as well

Hope this helps Mark
All the very best
Vicki

I have been checking out my writing stats under Site Content - Writing Stats as I'm making my content and I have been noticing this Google Index value set to zero (0).

I

Apparently this question of mine got answered. I now see four of my posts are now indexed.

It doesn't work for me either, maybe it's something that should be brought to the attention of the WA staff? Perhaps the syncing with Google doesn't work on that particular feature.
