Are there any WA members out there that have successfully monetized Twitter X? If so can you recommend any training programs/resources that you found particularly helpful?
I don't use Twitter that much, but I have seen others be quite successful using it. I would suggest that you have lots of informational tweets with only an occasional "selling" one tossed in there, same as you would do on Facebook. The ratio I've always supported is 10:1. Hope that helps.

I have used and seen great success with it. I learned by trial and error but for the most part it is simple.

I belong to a business group that built our members a website that is focused on our business category.
I want to use one of my WA domains (which I already use for this
Hi Dave
1. I think you're saying that WA registration doesn't enable the DNS records to be set up to point to an external host? Is that what you're saying?
2. If that's the case then you'd need to move your registration to a new domain registrar.
2. As Abie has implied, hosts tend to provide a webmail service for hosted domains. It would need to be set up of course and you might need to find a way to save any current emails somewhere before setting up the new hosting.
If not clear, feel free to discuss.
;-)
Richard
Thanks for your reply. My responses to your questions are below:
1). Yes.
2). I am in the process of doing so.
3). Unfortunately, the host does not in this case so I will purchase email service through BlueHost who allow such without hosting the website. Also will allow me to change the A and CNAME records

1). Has anyone used a CRM/bulk email service platform like Hilo or Pipeline Pro?
Sometimes these services integrate with an additional service known as "Lead Connect".
By using a shared IP other senders which you have no control over - meaning their sending practices.
If these other senders' actions adversely affect your IP reputation. Yes, it could affect your email deliverability, even if your sending practices are top-notch.
In your opinion is Google , etc cracking down so much that using automation for cold email may become a thing of the past?
I have tested a couple different autoresponders using expendable domains and received warnings while still in the warmup phase.
I followed the warm up instructions to the T and even set the number of emails per day to the lowest end of the scale.
I know that as of Feb 1, 2024, Google and Yahoo have implemented far stricter standards for bulk cold emails when someone sends over 5000 emails daily.
If you violate this your emails can be marked as spam, or your emails will never arrive (blocked). Or worse your account gets suspended at the domain level.
Here's a great article by One Shot that covers things - it should help - https://www.oneshot.ai/blog/end-of-cold-email

you need an auto responder to send bulk emails and WA does not have one. Aweber is free for the first 500 subscribers
Thank You TheCatherine!
I have an autoresponder, but it is not Aweber.
Autoresponders require the DMARC, DKIM & SPF to be configured, in order to use their service.
I have since learned with WA I can't set these up myself. I have to use support to do so.
You would want to ask site support :) Enhancing Email Security with DMARC on Wealthy Affiliate Domains
Thanks AbiePlus!
I saw Carson's post however, my auto-responder required still further setup than what WA has put in place.
Support just made the changes required and email is now working in concert with my auto-responder.

I keep having a company called OLSP System showing up in my Facebook feed every day.
They look like a scam company.
Have any members run across them?
I have not heard of it before. However, I also learned here. Thank you for your question.
I took a look to see what OLSP was about as I like to see if I can pick up tidbits of information about online marketing wherever I can.
OLSP immediately starts upselling from the get-go thus, my first impression is that they are a bit sleazy.
The guy that founded the company films his podcasts from a dark dingy room he calls his "Bat Cave" if that graphic helps. I got depressed just watching his video.
Nope! The difference between OLSP and Wealthy Affiliates is night and day.
I have to say I've looked at a lot of online marketing and affiliate marketing training programs over the years and there isn't one that holds a candle stick to Wealthy Affiliates.
Kyle and Carson built a company that truly changes people's lives if they apply what they've learned.
My hats off to Kyle & Carson!
This is a program from Wayne Crowe who is the founder of Traffic Dominators - The system offers all kinds of training. Affiliate marketing, email marketing, etc.
If you do a Google search - wayne crowe OLSP System - you'll find lots of info about it.
Hope that helps
Leo...I have another question if you don't mind. You've been with WA for a long time.
How does one find out who they are a referral of?
I ask because I saw your post (about a month ago) about Jay now only allowing his referrals to contact him directly and it got me to thinking I have no idea if I was referred to WA by someone or not?
If go to your profile, and click on view profile. There you have public messages, if you scroll down all the way to the end you will see the welcome message from the person you enrolled through.
if you click on help at the top then you will find out who, if any, you were referred by ...
you will see Kyle, carson and maybe a.n.other... and it is this a.n.other who s your referrer...
easier than scrolling down your profile...
