Yesss. I Did It!
Hello WA family. I want to confirm all that I have learned here and from all of you. I finished an article in a record time for me of 1 hour 20 minutes, this includes my keyword search with help from Partha's Potion.
This is a milestone of sorts for me. Previously it would take up to more hours than I want to share... oh well why not ....5-6 hours!
What Did I do Differently
I watched some of the earlier training from Kyle, Jay, and read bookmarked Partha's blogs. Most of all, I wrote as if I were talking to a friend of mine that I knew would care enough to hear what I had to say. Writing without stopping until "I" was finished talking/sharing. Along with using Partha's potion in my keyword searches. That was it.
Keeping it simple for this complicated monkey mind of mine is the only way I can get anything done in a reasonable amount of time. So many hours before got to be a bit stressful and the doubting Thomas' in my brain began to create nonsense. When that happens I always refer to my WA motto of "Never Quit. Never Quit!".
Sometimes I have to reread or watch training and blogs many times. And that's okay. Because of that, I was able to do a fairly decent article with a bit over 800 words. I had finished with my "conversation" anyway. If I wrote other fluff or foo foo in order to make 1,000 words, made no logical sense. I provided the topic, that was a question. Provided info on it. Answered it. Wrote some final thoughts. Done.
For our newest members like me, never give up, re-read/watch trainings, ask questions, read blogs, get a mentor of sorts, and most of all... Keep It Simple.
