Find the right time to go Premium

I've been a Starter member since Dec 2012. I was tempted so many times to go Premium. Not only by Kyle and WA website prompting quite often to upgrade, but also by myself. I am in general "easy to go premium" in anything. I buy a lot of books, online trainings, I used to pay for many other systems offering help in online business.

Have they worked for me?

Well, the honest answer is - I don't know.
I don't know because I have never completed any of those courses or systems. And gigabytes of eBooks are just stored on my hard drive waiting for me to retire most probably ...

I am always excited at the beginning but later I am just overwhelmed by working full time and having small kids. I am also overwhelmed by myself trying to do something perfect or nothing - and usually 'nothing' wins...

So when I joined WA again I was very tempted to straight away buy domain, buy template, go premium and simply spend a lot of money and do nothing after initial week.

But as I am getting older and older it looks that I am also getting smarter (at least).
I have set some conditions to myself to meet before I go Premium. I would like to share them with you as I believe it is good to consider for other starters too:

  1. Go through all initial training and publish your website. Make sure you spend at least 2h a day working on your website and/or going through WA courses/tutorials.

  2. Go through Bootcamp Course Phase 1 and complete all the tasks.

  3. Go through any specific training/discussions when you need help or some more knowledge. There is still a lot available for free and there is no point to pay for Premium if you're going to spend month or two going through basic stuff. If you are brand new to Internet Marketing there is still a lot of basics to gather and WA gives a lot for free.

  4. Make a good try of the system and pay for premium whilst you reach the point that whatever you want to find on WA is only for Premium members.

And I have reached that point! That itself is a success for me. I have my website and have learned a lot from available materials. I have tried the system, I have tried great community and now it is my very own smart sensible decision to go Premium.
Not because there is a great deal now.
Not because there is fantastic special offer by midnight.
Not because someone tried to convince me it is so good.
I go Premium because I have experienced that WA works for me!

Great stuff. i am new here but the offers are so enticing. Anyway going through your post has to an extent solved my dilemma of going Premium

Agreed!

I could not agree more, there is lots to learn, at least for me, as a starter, so until I know I am pass this level, and see the results, I will not upgrade to premium.

Great post and I absolutely agree with your approach. As I see it you have laid a strong foundation to build on in Premium, well done. Enjoy premium and your success which I am sure is just round the corner as they say,
Regards
Hudson.

Excellent post Lunia... I've been waiting for that moment where I just know that it is time. This really gives me a great dose of clarity. Thank you soooo much!!!!

excellent article. I too have been wrestling with going premium. I still have a day job that actually i love but have always wanted to work for self. I have signed up for Jaxxy and enter keywords for niches, etc but similar to you, until i feel i have the right niche and I am willing to dedicate the TIME i keep hesitating. Time to get off the "thinking about it" and move forward! again, very nice article

Congratulations for making the smart decision. It makes no sense to upgrade until you have reached at least the level that you have. This also tells you that you can do it, and more importantly are committed enough to actually do it.

Many of the 30 day clubs tell us that consistent action done over a period of time becomes a habit. Keep it up this stuff is habit forming. It is a good habit to have.

Excellent article Lunia and good for you for upgrading to premium at your own pace. Deals can be enticing, however they are only a deal if you can benefit from them.

Great blog, I have been asking myself the same question-when to go premium? I'm still working thru the beginner stuff. When I'm done with that I will go premium. Congrats!

What you have learned is valuable as well. Earning money is not the only tangible asset, your knowledge, what you have created, your content, your website and your brand...all of these are going to only continue to grow and gain more traction as time goes on.

Congrats on your upgrade, I know you are going to love Premium and as always, if you ever need a hand with anything, just let us know. You are making wonderful progress!
